Ms Hoang was the sweetest person. She was very informative on what was expected of me and she helped immerse myself into the Vietnamese culture. She cooked for me and I helped her with her English:) I felt very included and helpful during this time. I was to pick out a the project Monday through Thursday to read to the children. After each the project reading there was an activity to also perform. Usually the activity is related to the project. Then I would assist in whatever Ms Hoang needed help with. It was a very rewarding experience.

I was due to arrive on Sunday 09/06 until Monday 17/06. I had arrived in Hoi An on the Saturday and messaged the host to ask when I should arrive on Sunday but I didn't receive a response. I still went on Sunday (Google says they're open) but there was nobody there & the gate was locked so I sent a follow up message to the host. I didn't receive a response until Tuesday evening after I contacted Worldpackers support. The host asked me to contact them via WhatsApp so I did to say I could no longer volunteer, the host tried to call which I wasn't able to answer and I didn't get any other reply
