Yoonji è una padrona di casa meravigliosa. È sempre felice di condividere ogni tipo di informazione sugli eventi, e prende anche l'iniziativa di invitare volontari e ospiti a uscite insieme, il che è incredibilmente commovente. Il lavoro qui è chiaramente organizzato e non è eccessivamente stancante. Dopo aver comunicato pienamente con Yoonji, scoprirai che è tanto premurosa quanto può essere e sempre pronta ad offrire aiuto. Finché rispetterai le regole della casa, avrai un soggiorno amichevole e piacevole. Questa è la mia prima esperienza di work-exchange. Spero di tornare alla casa per gli ospiti in futuro!

Yoonji era molto accogliente, aveva inviato istruzioni molto dettagliate su cosa fare e potevo chiederle in qualsiasi momento.
Sono un maximalista, quindi per me la pulizia richiedeva di solito più di due ore, ma i compiti erano belli e piacevoli:)
Mi ha anche mandato molte raccomandazioni molto specifiche su cosa fare a Seoul

Ho incontrato nuove persone, imparato cose nuove e raccolto molte storie lungo la strada (e anche molti campioni di prodotti per la cura della pelle haha 😂).

I had a wonderful time at Bueno Day and Yoonji is a great host, we had great chats and the atmosphere of her house really reminded me more of like living in a home with friends. You get to meet other friendly travelers. I even went out with Yoonji and other guests for dinner and drinks a couple of times :) the work is fairly easy, the tasks are well explained and it usually doesn't take too long :) So all in all I had a wonderful experience and maybe I'll get to stay with Yoonji again some time.

Questa è stata la mia prima esperienza di volontariato in un ostello e la consiglio al 100%! Le attività erano chiare e prevedibili; è stato facile seguire tutte le istruzioni. La comunicazione era piacevole e, se ci fossero state situazioni difficili durante il lavoro, le abbiamo sempre risolte con umorismo e rispetto. Yoonji mi ha sempre segnalato alcuni eventi gratuiti molto interessanti, quindi mi sono sentito/a integrato/a nella vita della città di Seul. Grazie mille per questa esperienza, tornerei volentieri❤️

Mi è piaciuto davvero trascorrere del tempo presso la guest house. Il programma era perfetto per esplorare la città e mi è sembrato utile anche al lavoro. È stata una grande opportunità per entrare in contatto con viaggiatori internazionali e conoscere la loro cultura. Le attività quotidiane sono state come discusso e ben riassunte in un documento. Yoonji ha fornito molte informazioni sulla cultura locale e ha suggerito programmi nella città.

Yoonji was my first Worldpackers host, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! She made Seoul feel like home, always keeping me updated about events and great places to visit. The tasks were clear and I usually finished early, giving me plenty of time to discover the city and its surroundings. I also had the chance to meet other international travellers and local guests, which made exploring Seoul even better. I definitely recommend!

I had a great 1st time WP experience thanks to Yoonji & the guest house. It was pleasant and rewarding to learn new things, meet international travelers and to have great time w/ Yoonji and guests, from engaging chats at the living room to walks or meals around Seoul. Yoonji is flexible and gives you all space/autonomy needed, no micromanagement. She will provide all the basics info for activities at your arrival and details you learn on the job as you go. She takes extra efforts to provide info on things to do, places to visit or eat and make sure people feel at home. I really appreciated it :)

The second experience in Bueno Day was great. I came back because Yoonji invited me to host her guest while she was abroad for work. I hope this is just a start to our long and fruitful relationship.

I'm home here and it is thanks to Yoonji. From the beginning, she made me feel like I belonged, walked me through the local market, the nearby park, shared language tips, cultural insights, and even places to explore that matched my personality. But what really stayed with me was a small, quiet moment: I had mentioned that I left bags of American cookies out of my luggage and was kind of regretting it. A little later, she sent me the location of a place nearby where I could I could get cookies. That gesture may seem small, but it says everything about her. She listens. She notices. She cares.
