Amazing first volunteering experience! Deva welcomed me like family and made me want to keep volunteering. I worked 5 days with Wyn, the farmer – weeding vanilla, picking the farm, walking in the bamboo forest, feeding the cows Lola & Aurora, and starting a parking project. Wyn taught me a bit of Indonesian and I met his generous family. Special thanks to Pak Made for driving me daily, and to Deva for her inspiring conversations and hospitality. I felt so good I stayed a few extra days! Thanks Deva for everything <3

My girlfriend Bea and I spent a week volunteering with Deva and her team, we had a wonderful time! I really enjoyed feeding the cows and helping cut the grass on farm 2. It was nice going to local balinese markets, meeting new people, exploring town, farming and working on my moped skills 😊 Thank you Deva for giving us our own personal space in your home as-well as being so generous and understanding. Our time will be unforgettable 🌿☕️🐄

We had an amazing time volunteering and staying with Deva! She is such a bubbly, generous and active person. Together we worked with a fellow volunteer Sumi (also lovely and friendly) cutting grass, feed cows & pick cherries. It's definitely hard work!! But it's always a laugh and makes you appreciate the experience more. Deva isn't kidding the ride to the farm is difficult but surrounded by absolutely stunning rice fields, devo ensure you can ride a bike before. We found it rewarding and memorable, allowing us to meet new people, connect with nature and explore ubud. Thank you so much! 💗😚🍂🐮

Mi è davvero piaciuto soggiornare presso la fattoria. Deva mi ha accolto a braccia aperte—è calorosa e premurosa. La casa, che ha una splendida piscina, è più vicina a Ubud e rende facile esplorare l'area. La fattoria è lontana, quindi è sicuramente utile sapere guidare uno scooter. Poiché non so guidare, Deva ha gentilmente organizzato il trasporto per me, il che ha reso tutto molto più facile. Lavorare sulla fattoria biologica è stata una bellissima esperienza. Mi è piaciuto passare del tempo con Wayan e Pad Maday. Avrei voluto che ci fossero stati più volontari con cui connettersi e imparare, ma sono grato per l'esperienza! Grazie!

Deva is a communicative and friendly person, his staffs are incredible people and take very good care of Deva's spaces. I was able to participate in the process of harvesting and pulping the farm. the farm is the best of all, I really loved and became addicted to this the farm!

Ciao Sam.. Grazie per essere venuto a fare volontariato nella fattoria; è stato un piacere averti qui. È stato un peccato che alla fine tu abbia sentito una grande pressione da fonti esterne. Spero che tu stia ancora sognando il caffè Luwak> Capisco che hai apprezzato le fattorie e i giri in bicicletta. Ti auguriamo tutto il meglio in Sumatra.. e per i tuoi futuri progetti.

Sì, Shakti è un neofita della guida di uno scooter, quindi aveva un po' paura delle strade. Questa è una delle ragioni per cui chiediamo ai nostri volontari di saper guidare uno scooter. La fattoria è a circa 30 minuti in auto, ma è un bel giro all'alba. Stiamo costruendo la nostra casa della fattoria adesso; Shakti ha aiutato a portare le pietre nelle fattorie. Tuttavia, a causa delle forti piogge all'inizio di quest'anno, il tuo progetto di costruzione si è rallentato.

My boyfriend and I recently had the pleasure of volunteering with Deva, and I can confidently say it was one of the most rewarding experiences. Deva was an awesome host, we felt very welcomed to her home and learned so much about the local life there. When it came to volunteering at the farm, we had the opportunity to pick the farm cherries, help build her the farm house in Ubud, and learn how to maximize the farm yields naturally. My time in Bali wouldn't have been quite as immersive if it weren't for this experience here at the farm.

Hi, we enjoyed our time here with Deva at Pemberri the farm! She's an incredibly interesting individual and if there's any reason to choose this opportunity over others it's meeting her and hearing all of her stories! She also happens to be a very accommodative host, which we appreciated. We chose to volunteer for over a week after we explored around a bit across the island, and something I noticed in retrospect is that some of the most memorable experiences were actually while I was volunteering here rather than when I was sightseeing!
