Mi sono divertito molto! L\'ospite e la sua famiglia sono molto gentili. Ho dato lezioni di inglese ai bambini del villaggio, il che è stata un\'esperienza divertente. Altrimenti abbiamo avuto molto tempo per esplorare l\'isola. Il cibo era molto buono, anche per i vegetariani :) Lo consiglierei.

È stato così divertente stare con Toris e la sua famiglia. E Martin è una persona davvero gentile, che ci sta mostrando i dintorni. Qui stiamo trascorrendo dei momenti fantastici. Mi piacerebbe visitarlo ancora.

Toris e i suoi amici e la sua famiglia sono tutti molto gentili e accoglienti. Ho trascorso il mio soggiorno di due settimane a fare surf, esplorare la bellissima isola e mangiare cibo delizioso. Il lavoro è molto gestibile ed è un impegno di tempo molto piccolo. Consiglio vivamente di restare qui e spero di tornare un giorno!

We had an amazing time in Nias, the food was delicious and we felt very welcomed. The work is really easy and Toris is very relaxed and nice to talk to. We would recommend it to everyone and we hope to come back in the future!

La estancia en la pousada Damaii con Toris y su familia fue sencillamente espectacular. Toris es un anfitrión 10, y junto con su familia te hacen sentir como en casa por su amabilidad y dedicación. No hay mucha carga de trabajo, por lo que si buscas un voluntariado tranquilo, este es ideal. Las comidas son increibles; Sinta y sus compañeras te preparan lo que sea, además te hacen platos locales esquisitos y, si quieres, ¡puedes ayudar a cocinar y aprender con ellas! El entorno es muy tranquilo y agradable, a 15 minutos de la pequeña ciudad, y literalmente a 2 pasos de la playa.

Our experience volunteering at the inn has been amazing. Toris and his family are very welcoming and warm, it felt like home. We had to take two planes to get to Nias, but once there we didn't have much expenses. If you are looking for a place to rest whilst getting to know the local life, this is the perfect volunteer experience

Estuvimos de voluntariado con Toris unos 8 días, todas personas del hotel son muy amables y te dan un trato muy cariñoso y cercano, respecto al voluntariado no se tarda mucho en limpiar la playa y se hace de manera rápida y fácil para luego poder disfrutar del día, las comidas están muy buenas y variaba entre arroz, noodles, patatas fritas, y siempre ponían algo de pescado y verduras, los desayunos estaban muy buenos tenías un sandwich o unas tortitas ya sea tortitas con plátano y frutos secos y bañada en chocolate o una tortilla francesa. La playa está muy bien para aprender a hacer surf…

I had suuuuch a good time there! I relaxed, chilled, had a lot of me time in a paradise beach, it was amazing! The hosting family and the people working there were so nice and kind and welcoming! I am really going to miss them! The work is really easy and short, just swiping the beach in the morning. I just want to mention that the room they give you is extremely hot, even with the fan so i switched to an ac room and paid 15$. Thank you for everything and hope to see you again!!

My time in Nias was super fun and relaxing. We picked up garbage along the beach for about an hour or so in the morning and the rest of the day was free time. The family was very nice and welcoming, they also told us about their plans to expand their project in the coming year. It was more difficult to get there than expected, so we ended up flying into Gunungsitoli - additionally, it was more significantly more expensive than we were expecting to get from the airport (or the port) to the inn. But once you are there, the experience is great and you get to enjoy the island life.

We had a fantastic time staying at the inn. The family was very accommodating and nice to talk with. The tasks were very easy, mainly cleaning up the beach and the areas around the inn. It took less time than anticipated. They are working on expanding their volunteering program for the future. The discounted surf board rentals make it a great place to learn to surf, we definitely improved! Beware that getting to Nias and then to Lagundri Beach is a long process and comes at a cost. Make sure to do lots of research beforehand as the costs can quickly add up.
