Ho trascorso qui due mesi incredibili. Sono stato accolto calorosamente e mi sono sentito veramente a casa.
Ho apprezzato la splendida natura, conoscere la meravigliosa famiglia e gli amici, e creare ricordi indimenticabili. Questa esperienza mi ha aiutato a crescere molto come persona, e sarò sempre grato per questo tempo speciale.

My first Worldpackers experience couldn't have been better! the project is such a special place. The farmhouse is over 500 years old, the surroundings are beautiful, and there's something about the atmosphere that makes you feel at home very quickly. Although my stay was short, it was really good… Matty was a wonderful host… friendly, welcoming, patient, and always up for a chat and a laugh (f.u)… Thank you for making my first volunteering experience such a positive one. I will always look back on my time at the project with a big smile… 😬🥰

La mia settimana al progetto è stata meravigliosa!
È un posto pieno di pace e buona energia. Ho potuto cucinare con verdure e frutta dal giardino e altri prodotti locali. Ho anche aiutato a prendermi cura del giardino per l'inverno. Il lavoro era semplice, e Matty è flessibile con gli orari. Matty è una persona incredibile, molto gentile, divertente e una grande compagnia. Era anche molto paziente con il mio inglese. Ha sempre avuto argomenti e storie interessanti da condividere. Ho imparato molto e mi sono divertito molto con lui. Raccomando sicuramente questa esperienza e mi piacerebbe avere l'opportunità di tornare un giorno! ☺️♥️

La mia esperienza nel progetto è stata molto positiva. Il posto è bello, tranquillo e circondato dalla natura. Il lavoro è fisico, ma ci si abitua. Prendersi cura delle galline e dell'orto è stato davvero piacevole. La città più vicina si trova a circa 25 minuti a piedi. Matty è amichevole e ti fa sentire a casa. Nel complesso, è un'opportunità di volontariato consigliata per coloro che cercano un ambiente tranquillo e contatto con la natura.

Mi sono davvero divertito alla fattoria! Matty è un host molto accogliente e un ottimo conversatore. La casa e il giardino sono splendidi, con una storia super interessante. Mi è piaciuto molto trascorrere del tempo con Haggis e le galline e cucinare con le verdure dal giardino. La città più vicina, Talgarth, si trova a soli 25 minuti a piedi ed è dotata di una grande panetteria. Raccomando sicuramente la fattoria!

I have absolutely loved all of Wales and Talgarth is such a cute gem. Matty is a wonderful host and made me feel safe and at home from the first day. Both his house and his farm are stunning: surrounded by hills and woods, I felt at peace, free. He's also been very patient with all my questions ahah: even though I was born and raised in the countryside I feel like I've learned more from my time here than at home. You'll get used to the physical work pretty soon and after a while I've grown so fond of the animals and plants that it didn't even feel like work anymore!

My volunteering with Matty was great. The place is really calm and relaxing, perfect to unwind. Matty is super friendly and welcoming, you quickly feel at home. I went on some amazing walks thanks to his tips, and the scenery was beautiful. Honestly, I had a great time. Thanks again, Matty!

I am so grateful for my experience at the project and couldn't recommend it enough. It is a very special place, a beautiful house surrounded by incredible nature and lots of history. Matty is just a great host and person, very interesting to talk to with a great sense of humour. I really enjoyed working in the garden, I learnt a lot about sustainability and growing food etc. Plus there are chickens and sheep to play with which is a huge plus! If you want to slow down and get in touch with nature this would be perfect for you. Thank you Matty ☺️

I deeply treasure the experience I had at Collage Farm! Matty is amazing respectful, kind, honest, and easygoing. He is always willing to help you learn 🫀 During my stay, I learned a lot about sustainability. It helped me become more aware of the food I eat and how to take care of my body and mind. The site is a bit far from the nearest town (Brecon), but if you're looking for a quiet place to connect with nature, this is the right spot! Thank you, Matty, for trusting me and turning this experience into a beautiful memory.
