Virginia è una anfitriona eccellente! Il lavoro che farai con lei è davvero vario, il che ti offre l'opportunità di imparare o migliorare molte competenze! Lei è grata per tutto ciò che fai e te lo fa sapere. È divertente, come volontario, sentire la sua gratitudine! Fuori dalle sue responsabilità legate al lavoro, è una grande cuoca e ogni pasto è stato un piacere. Un altro aspetto fantastico di questa esperienza è che Virginia si offre di accompagnarti alle tue attività nei tuoi giorni di riposo se è abbastanza vicina. Ad esempio, può accompagnarti a escursioni vicino alla casa (ce ne sono molte) e può portarti a Foix. Mi è piaciuto!

L'esperienza di volontariato con Virginia è assolutamente incredibile. Gli orari di lavoro sono stati ben rispettati e il lavoro stesso è davvero divertente da fare, perché hai la possibilità di praticare molte competenze. Virginia è una persona incredibile; ha sempre storie incredibili da raccontare e i pasti che ha preparato erano incredibili. Le sistemazioni sono anche molto belle. Durante i giorni di riposo, c'è una splendida escursione da fare vicino a casa sua e il villaggio di Foix è anche molto affascinante da scoprire. Raccomanderei davvero questa esperienza di volontariato; il nostro tempo qui è stato davvero fantastico!

Staying with Virginia this past month was the most fulfilling experience. She is a lovely person, attentive and full of adventurous experiences we shared and laughed about at the dinner table. We did cleaning and gardening. We enjoyed caring for her place and keeping it clean and organised, we felt like home after a while. Some days we would have breakfast with Virginia in Foix, and visited the local markets. In our free time we visited Toulouse, Carcassonne by train and hiked the mountains above Virginia's house. I am very grateful to Virginia for her hospitality and the wonderful experience.

It was amazing experience. I really enjoyed homestay with Virginia and her dog. Virginia is smart and lovely person with great skills of cooking. The work I did was pretty interesting. I was painting kitchen and terrace, gardening and helping around the house. I spent a lot of time exploring beautiful surroundings of the home heights and medieval town Foix. I had plenty of free time, witch I spent visiting Toulouse, Carcassonne and Barcelona. I really enjoyed time I spent there and hope once to come back

We had a wonderful two weeks in the home with Virginia. The work was mostly cleaning, gardenwork, and some painting, which was easy enough to do. Virginia was a joy to be around, and we loved listening to the wonderful stories she had to tell during lunch and dinner which were delicious! It was also amazing to have 3 days off a week, which we spent visiting Foix, which Virginia kindly drove us to and picked us up from. Thanks so much for an amazing time!

We loved our stay in Foix. Virginia is a warm and welcoming person, and a great cook, and it was lovely to get to know her over our stay. The hours were very consistent, starting at 9 untill lunch with a long break, and then 2-4 in the afternoon. Virginia drove us into Foix on our days off and we had a great time exploring in Foix as well as Toulouse and other places. We would highly recommend staying with Virginia!

Volunteering at Barry and Virginia's house was amazing! Basically they were moving house, so the job was moving furniture and cleaning. The atmosphere in the house was always fun and pleasant. All the food was provided by them and was extremely delicious. I ate several typical dishes such as Cassoulet from France and Fish and Tips from England. I had three days off a week, which was wonderful for getting to know other places in the south of France! It was my first time volunteering and I couldn't have asked for a better experience, I'm very grateful for the days I was able to help them!
