Fitri e la sua famiglia sono accoglienti e disponibili, da subito ci hanno fatto sentire a casa.
Fitri è un host fantastico,dolce e accogliente sempre pronta a venirci incontro.
Non avevamo una schedule rigida, lei è stata da subito molto flessibile, e questo mi ha fatto sentire molto a mio agio con lei.
Insieme abbiamo condiviso racconti, storie, risate e soprattutto cibo!
Questa esperienza mi ha permesso di immergermi completamente nella cultura locale, è stato davvero bellissimo!

Il mio soggiorno nella comunità non potrebbe essere stato migliore. Grazie a Fitri e alla comunità, ho potuto davvero entrare in contatto con la gente del posto e la comunità, imparare sul quotidiano delle persone qui e vedere quanto impatto positivo una piccola comunità possa portare alle persone. Per tutta la durata del mio soggiorno, Fitri si è presa cura di me in modo incredibile per assicurarsi che mi sentissi al sicuro e a mio agio. È stato ispirante vedere quanto sia umile e così aperta ad imparare da tutti, e quanto sia fiduciosa per il futuro della sua comunità. Le ore di lavoro e i tipi di lavoro sono flessibili e rispettati.

I had the best time at the community with Fitri and her family/friends. I always felt very comfortable and welcomed. What you do as a volunteer really depends on the moment. At this time of year there was not too much community activity going on so I mainly helped in the garden but I still had a great time because I met so many local people and learned a lot about the culture. Fitri also took me to a lot of places and spend time with me and we talked a lot (she's an angel). I absolutely recommend. Ignore the old reviews about bad housing. You now stay in their new, very comfortable hostel.

My first experience with worldpackers was truly unforgettable, thanks to the warm hospitality of Fitri and Anung. Being part of their community projects in the village was not only inspiring but also a great way to immerse myself in the local culture. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to connect with a community and gain a deeper understanding of the local way of life.

The community gave me amazing opportunity to see real Javanis culture. Fitri and Annang welcomed me home as a part of their family. I fully felt there as a part of community. Meeting local friends helped me to understand view and perspectives Jogjakarta's people has. Nevertheless, you need to be aware that living conditions are not Europeans standards. Also while going there you need to be aware of the heat and humidity. If someone is ready to give this place a chance you will contribute to the amazing community growth. All of the people in the city are open and smiling!

I had an absolute amazing time! Fitri and Anang are absolutely amazing. They introduced me to the local community and they were incredibly kind and welcoming. This is a great place to get to know the locals and immerse yourself into the culture. I feel like I was able to learn so much here and I had such a fun time!

Fitri was fantastic! We visited her work and met people from the local community. We later met and spoke to lots of young adults about climate change and women's rights- this was very interesting. However, within the community we felt we were given little experiences, which may have been due to the rain. You can see that Fitri is committed to improving the community and I hope that she is successful. Please note that the living conditions are not to European standards.

Grazie, Rowan e Charlotte, voi due siete molto gentili, aiutate e sostenete le nostre attività comunitarie, ma sfortunatamente durante la stagione delle piogge diversi programmi vengono posticipati a causa del tempo che piove quasi tutti i giorni.

Fitr was so kind, she is an amazing cook, she even taught us how to some Indonesian food. We really enjoyed meeting local people and chatting to them. We especially enjoyed the women coming to eat at the community. However, the facilities are not up to European standards and because of the weather we didn't do as many workshops or garden as much as expected. But we wish Fritri the best and hope the community helps many :)
