My experience with Abraham as my host was unforgettable. From the start, I felt welcomed by him and the entire community. Abraham was understanding, supportive, and flexible, which made adjusting to a new culture much easier. I learned a lot about local life, explored Jinja, and tried traditional foods. Spending time with the kids was especially meaningful—they were kind, respectful, and eager to learn. What stood out most was the mission of the community, which is deeply rooted in Christ and shown through love, unity, and service.

My experience in Uganda was truly meaningful and memorable. Working with the children was especially rewarding, as I could see the real impact of my contribution and how even small efforts can make a difference in their daily lives. Abraham and his family were kind and welcoming, and I loved discovering the local culture. The organization is small, so expect a less structured experience and some moments of loneliness, with few opportunities to meet other volunteers. However, with an open mind and realistic expectations, it can be a rewarding experience that leaves you with beautiful memories.

Loved my stay at the organization. From the moment I got there to the moment I left, it was a warm and inviting environment. A true home away from home. Abraham was a wonderful host and has become a dear friend. Its such a beautiful blessing to see the light of Christ shining in their community. 🙏 The endearing children and welcoming atmosphere was just one of the amazing reasons I hope to be back soon. ✈️ It was so lovely to be involved in the mission to encourage and uplift those around them, both in the community as a whole, as well as the children and single moms.💜 So greatful.

I had a very meaningful time volunteering at the organization. The team does inspiring, responsible work — not only with the children at the orphanage, but also with the wider community. Their mission goes beyond care: they fight hunger and poverty through education, agriculture, and community empowerment. It was beautiful to see how much they believe in teaching, autonomy, and love as tools for transformation. During my stay, I felt welcomed and supported, and had the freedom to contribute through educational and creative activities. I truly recommend this experience to anyone volunteer ♥️

I had the most incredible experience at the organization and would truly recommend it ! Abraham is such a kind, welcoming and beautiful person. He is so dedicated to make a difference and help everyone around him. I felt so comfortable and welcomed by everyone. The best part really was the people in general, discovering the culture and the children. I feel truly lucky to have been able to be a part of this and be welcomed with open arms . I have learned so much and i hope to be back very soon !

Abraham is an incredible host! He demonstrates good values, morals and an ability to truly make an incredible change. I have spent time at other foundations around Jinja, Uganda and I can easily say this was the best experience I've had. I felt safe, comfortable and apart of a true home. Cannot wait to return and experience it all over again. The children are incredible and the experience was wonderful. Thank you Abraham and all those involved at the community
