Sono molto felice di aver fatto volontariato all'HTB. Glenn è un ottimo ospite, molto positivo ed energico. Mi ha mostrato cose interessanti sull’ostello. e mi ha portato in posti come Beverley e Bempton. Ho vissuto il Sesh Festival, ho viaggiato nel suo van fantastico e ho visto il rugby per la prima volta. Le attività includono dare il benvenuto agli ospiti, organizzare i letti e aiutare con la pulizia e la lavanderia. Glenn è sempre stato disponibile ogni volta che non capivo qualcosa. l’ostello è così bello, con musei e parchi che mi hanno fatto sentire a casa. La Marina Docks è stato il mio posto preferito. Raccomando vivamente questo ospite ad altri volontari.😊

I worked with Glenn at the hostel for around 5 and a half weeks! It was a good experience with Glenn and the other volunteer, Joe, being very friendly. The work itself isn't very hard, as it's only a small hostel, so there aren't many beds or bathrooms to clean each day. In terms of admin/reception, it's very simple and anyone can learn it quickly! Glenn was very helpful in showing me around the local area, and the next town over. I spent my time there bunking in the female dorm. I would work here again. :) see you guys around!! Glenn is a really great host, super positive even under stressful situations. From Sunday evening to Thursday morning I was in charge as he lives an hour away, I called him a couple of times when some of the guests requested room changes but he was quick to respond. The hostel itself, the hostel, is located in the heart of the cities old town, which is useful because there are many shops and markets close by. I also had a private room which was comfortable, I still used ear plugs though for the noise of the city. I shared the wash facilities, toilet and kitchenette.
