Senza dubbio è stata un'esperienza indimenticabile, la famiglia è incantevole e mi hanno trattato benissimo in ogni momento. Il lavoro della scuola è facile e mi sono divertita molto a parlare e giocare con i bambini. Mi è piaciuto molto il modo di insegnare, di giocare e di connettermi con la natura da un modo così rispettoso e paziente. Se cerchi conoscere la cultura locale e imparare la lingua, consiglio vivamente questo volontariato. Infine, la città di Palermo è splendida, e il sito del campeggio è incredibile. Sono molto grata di aver vissuto questa esperienza.

Una comunità così bella in un posto davvero meraviglioso. È stata un'esperienza incredibilmente tranquilla e coinvolgente e sono così fortunato ad averla vissuta! Vale e Francesco hanno la famiglia più gentile e ogni singola persona che ho incontrato durante il mio soggiorno è stata così paziente e amichevole. È stata l'occasione perfetta per praticare l'italiano, mettermi in contatto con la natura, trascorrere del tempo con un incredibile gruppo di bambini ed esplorare Palermo. Mi sono sentito molto a mio agio, e Vale e Francesco sono gli anfitrioni più generosi. Il mio miglior consiglio sarebbe aprirti durante il tuo soggiorno!

Gli host sono una famiglia molto premurosa e ti guidano🩷. I compiti sono chiari e trascorrere tempo con i bambini è divertente! Il tempo è davvero caldo, tuttavia. È utile se parli italiano o spagnolo, così è più facile connettersi con i bambini. Il posto è davvero bello ed è divertente cucinare lì dopo l'ora di lavoro. È tranquillo. È un po' difficile se sei una persona da festa, perché l'autobus non arriva così tardi. Ho imparato molto e non mi sono sentito stressato, perché l'atmosfera è piuttosto rilassata 🤗

Ho trascorso un periodo meraviglioso qui! Ho aiutato nel kindergarten (anni 1–5) dalle circa 9:30 alle 14:30 ogni giorno di scuola. Le mie attività consistavano nel trascorrere del tempo con i bambini e occuparmi di loro, e nel aiutare con i pasti e le stoviglie successivamente. Solo un insegnante parlava davvero un po' di inglese, ma gli insegnanti erano incredibilmente accoglienti e abbiamo usato molte espressioni facciali e gesti per comunicare. Valentina e Francesco sono stati incredibilmente gentili, mi hanno aiutato a sistemarmi e si sono assicurati che avessi tutto ciò di cui avevo bisogno. Preparati a vivere completamente da solo/a nella scuola al di fuori degli orari scolastici.

Thank you for this great experience! Working with Valentina and Francesco was pure pleasure! They are so welcoming, it's incredible! I immediately felt at ease with them, with great discussions. I only have one desire: to go back to work there! I recommend it to everyone who wants to improve their Italian, work with children in a relaxed and positive atmosphere while being close to nature! :) Their way of working and approaching, educating children is really great I thank them for this adventure and highly recommend it! :)

Words cannot describe what this place evokes. In me? Pure magic. If you love waking up in the mountains of Palermo, being able to cook in an open kitchen and starting your day on the platform among the fruit trees before work, then you've come to the right place - but be careful, there might be chickens running around below you ;-). For example, you can learn how to build a chicken coop, design a rap or plant spring onions. It is important that you are not afraid to enter into conversation if you are interested in something or show initiative, for example if you want to initiate a project :-)

My experience was absolutely amazing! valentina and francesco were incredible and made me feel part of the family from day 1. i spent half my time in the primary school and the other half in the nursery which was a nice change of atmosphere. i would not change a single thing from my time here :) one thing that wasn't mentioned was the wifi is only available during school hours (8-4 aprox) which was not a problem for me but may be for someone else and the washing machine in the school was not working so had my clothes taken and washed at the hosts home. i would recommend this experience to all

I'm very grateful for my stay. valentina and francesco really did make me feel at home and i couldn't ask for any better. (from rides to the center to offering me delicious italian meals, seriously couldn't ask for more). incredible people and what they're doing with the school is amazing, i think everyone who has the opportunity to go should go and experience it. the kids are lovely and teachers too. if you like being surrounded by nature this is the place for you. will forever remember this with love.

Bellísima experiencia y bellísimas personas. Formas parte del dia a dia con los niños, ayudas con la cocina y ordenas el jardín. Aparte de aprender sobre todo ello y practicar mucho italiano! Gracias Valentina y Francesco, tuve un voluntariado fantastico. Si tu intención es desconectar de la ciudad para conectar con la naturaleza, la montaña, la enseñanza y practicar italiano, esta experiencia es para vos.

I have nothing but words of gratitude and love for the school and the kindergarten. From the very first day, they made me feel like part of the big family created by educators, parents, and students. Vale and Francesco could not have made my experience easier; thanks to them, I immersed myself in the culture and daily life of Palermo. The project they promote is truly beautiful and is based on genuine respect and self-awareness, which, as a teacher, I found incredible. It was an amazing experience that I would repeat without a doubt. Grazie di cuore.
