Experiencia súper positiva con Rotich y su familia! Agradecemos la forma en la que nos cuidaron el, su familia y amigos. Tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer su cultura y costumbres diarias. Su hogar es muy acogedor, te hacen sentir en casa desde el primer día y siempre muy pendientes de lo que necesitas. Pudimos aprovechar para conocer diferentes lugares de la zona así como visitar la escuela de su hija y pasar tiempo con los niños.

The experience has been wonderful—a great cultural immersion. We were able to get an inside look at Kenyan culture, tour the country with Rotich's help, and spend time with the schoolchildren, who were always so grateful. Living at home with Rotich, Abigail, the children, his family, and friends has been the best part of the experience. Thank you very much.

I had a great time staying with Rotich and his family. They are so kind and welcoming, you really feel like a part of the family. It was also very fun visiting and teaching at his daughter's school. The room I stayed in was very nice and clean as well.

My experience with Rotich and Abigail was wonderful. They welcomed me into their home and made me feel like part of the family. My room was comfortable and beautiful, they cared deeply about my well-being, and they made time for me to enjoy the culture and sights of Mombasa. Their project is beautiful. Rotich works incredibly hard to improve children's the organization and needs support to make it a success. Being at the school with the children truly made me happy. Thank you to Abigail, Rotich, and their two little angels. It was an amazing experience, and I hope more people can share it ❤️

This experience was the best of my life! The place, the people, the activities, were just beautiful. Rotich and his family are now my family, I felt at home since the first day I arrived, they took care of me and we became very close. At home, I tried the most delicius food cooked by his wife the organization and I played a lot with their kids, it was lovely. A family you end up loving a lot 🥹. At school, I taught Spanish to the children, it was the most incredible experience that I could ever had. I also had time to have fun and to go for a safari. I really had the greatest time I'll never forget ❤️

My experience with the A.J.K.E.F. lasted about fifteen days. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with the local environment and its culture. The host is a fantastic man, with a fantastic family and always with a big will of help his community. It was amazing to teach in the local school and to work on a social media project to share the good message this foundation is trying to share with this volunteering opportunity. Highly recommended.

My experience at A.J.K.E.F. lasted about 2 weeks. The most rewarding part was teaching French at the local school, especially the exchange with the older children who were really eager to learn. The family is really nice, and the neighbours as well. Food was tasty. Of course, you need to adapt to the conditions of the slum. The host is always there for you and happy to accompany you to city tours, shopping etc. however, I highly recommend that you combine the staying with other volunteers or friends to hang out together.
