Questa è stata un'esperienza incredibile; mi sarebbe piaciuto avere più tempo! I bambini sono stati così gentili e Adi e tutto il team sono stati incredibili e molto accoglienti. Si può davvero vedere lo sforzo che tutti mettono affinché i bambini abbiano un'esperienza divertente e positiva ogni giorno! Tutto era molto flessibile e ho avuto pause regolari per esplorare e chiacchierare con gli altri volontari. Spero davvero di tornare in futuro, grazie!

È stata una settimana davvero preziosa nell'organizzazione Community Centre. Ho conosciuto tutti i bambini, sono così dolci e rispettosi. Abbiamo preparato cibo per le persone del quartiere e lo abbiamo dato; è così bello che questo tipo di centri esistano per aiutarsi a vicenda. Inoltre abbiamo aiutato i bambini con la scuola dell'infanzia, abbiamo giocato con loro, riso e ballato molto. Adi, Marly e tutte le madri sono così dolci!

È un'esperienza davvero incredibile. Grazie ad Adi e a tutti gli altri per l'esperienza e per il tempo meraviglioso. Tutti i bambini locali e le loro mamme saranno lì dalla mattina alla sera, e sono così amichevoli e gentili. Cucinano ogni giorno, distribuiscono il cibo. E abbiamo avuto l'occasione di andare nel villaggio di montagna per consegnare alcuni vestiti. Sono stato lì solo sette giorni. Ma è stata un'esperienza davvero incredibile. Raccomando a tutti di andarci.

Che posto meraviglioso per fare volontariato. Ho passato i momenti migliori con i bambini. Ti permette di iniziare nel modo in cui vuoi interagire con i bambini; usa i tuoi talenti per capire cosa ti permetterebbe di entrare meglio in contatto con loro. Può essere molto impegnativo e intenso, ma così piacevole e gratificante. Sono molto fortunato ad aver trascorso molto tempo con tutti. La nostra ospite Adi è estremamente laboriosa e ospitale. Mi piacerebbe tornare.

My First International Volunteer Experience Volunteering with the organization marked an incredible introduction to international service, offering a meaningful opportunity to engage with the local community and gain insight into the daily lives of its people.I am sincerely grateful to world packers and to our host, Adi, for making this experience possible.The education and fun experiences provided to each child and parents is truly inspiring.I will always carry with me the memories of the children whose warmth and resilience truly touched my heart.

It was such a nice experience; I really connected with the kids and people there. It's so good to contribute and help the children, getting to know them better. You also learn a lot about how things work in the community and more about local culture. I had a room with AC and comfortable bed.There were 3 daily meals, and they made sure to give me many vegetarian options (which I wasn't expecting!) You are free to play with the kids at any time, and you have break times, so you can volunteer for the scheduled hours or do extra, it's up to you. 1 week is not enough, stay longer. I miss you all!!!

I stayed only a week but I experienced so much. Overall, it was wonderful and I'd recommend it to anyone interested. I was at the Community center, located by a slum area. In the mornings, I had class with pre school kids and then played with the kids around for the rest of the day. I also joined a food sharing activity. The kids are absoutely lovely and as you spend time there you get to learn about their reality and yours. It makes you think. However, know that this is ofc not a hotel and that it's not stricly 15 hours. It's intense but meaningful. Feel free to ask me anything.

I spent a week volunteering at the organization centre, an humbling and unforgettable experience for me. The main task was teaching the younger kids, 3 hours per day (Mon-Thu) with their mums assisting. The rest of the day was dedicated to all the ones who came in and out from the centre: kids of all ages, coming from the slum. They also guided us once through it, happy and proud to show us their little world: it was an eye-opening reality check. I can't recommend this experience enough: be ready to adapt and to go with an open heart, the kid's smiles are contagious.
