The host was truly one of the best experiences of my life, everyone is so welcoming and you truly have the best experiences when you open yourself up to chatting with the staff and the culture. The babies are so precious and you definitely become attached to them, it's so worth it though because you really do make a difference on their lives. I'd recommend anyone to come here so long as they have an open mind and a willingness to love and care for these kids 💜

I absolutely loved my time volunteering at the host! ❤️ It was such a meaningful experience, and I'm so grateful that I got the opportunity to be a part of it. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. I loved spending time with the children. Getting to know them and seeing their smiles every day was amazing. I already miss them so much. I would really recommend volunteering at the host! I'm so happy I chose to volunteer here, and I will always carry this experience with me.

I volunteered at the host for 3 weeks and little did I know how much of an impact that short time amount of time would bring to me! The children left such a lasting impression and I'm already looking for the next set of dates I can go back. I can't say it's emotionally easy doing this role, you may at times struggle- hearing the stories of the children etc but having the ability to bring the slightest bit of joy and play into these children's lives is worth every second.

I had such a meaningful experience volunteering during my time in Indonesia. I had the honor of being the very first volunteer at the children's home in Klaten, and it was truly a special experience. The atmosphere was intimate, warm, and very family-oriented. The staff, caretakers, and everyone at the home were incredibly welcoming, and I really enjoyed getting to know them and spending time with the children. I then continued my volunteer experience at the host, where I also enjoyed spending time with the babies and the wonderful people who care for them.

My experience at the host has been hard to put into words. What an experience and honor of a lifetime to get to be a positive light in the eyes of these precious children. I spent almost all of my vacation volunteering and wish I could have spent even more time. I met amazing international travelers and created beautiful friendships as well. I cannot wait to be back

Das Volunteering war insgesamt eine schöne Erfahrung. Die Kinder und das Team waren sehr freundlich und herzlich. Besonders gut fand ich, dass man die Zeit mit den Kindern frei gestalten und eigene Ideen einbringen konnte.

I had an amazing 3 week here! All the kids are incredible and deserve the world and it's clear to see that all the staff there care so much about the kids that they shower each and everyone one of them with so much love which is so nice to see. The structure is clear and there's a lot of flexibility and lots of things to do on the days off. And as it is a non profit i did have to get my own accommodation and commute to the host but either way it was an amazing experience! I highly recommend!!!

This place is so amazing I had to come back. Being able to meet Lucy this time was awesome as I got to learn about and really appreciate how far the host has come since it's opened. The staff members always had big smiles on their faces and were happy to chat, the kids are so happy and loved it's amazing to see. If anyone has the chance and will to volunteer at BBH I cannot recommend it more. I love this place and it's people more than I can express. Thank you Lucy for creating this beautiful possibility!!

Eye'm really enjoying my time at the host. Eye've already extended my time to continue volunteering for three months. It's really heartwarming and important what we do. We literally provide these babies with a chance to get out of one room that they're in all day everyday. We get to just give them love and watch them play and just be babies. If you can you should definitely volunteer here. The hours are very minimal and we get so much free time in between shifts to just connect, relax, and or explore.
