Non posso nemmeno credere a quanto velocemente siano passati questi quattro mesi! Fin dal primo giorno, Joanne, Johannes e tutta la famiglia mi hanno fatto sentire a casa. Hanno creato qualcosa di davvero speciale. Non solo una fattoria incredibile, ma anche una bellissima comunità in cui ci si sente parte della famiglia fin dal primo momento. I compiti settimanali sono esattamente in linea con le ore di lavoro concordate. Tutto è ben organizzato e c'è sempre qualcuno per aiutare se hai domande. Non ti senti mai solo. Si preoccupano davvero del tuo benessere e si assicurano sempre che tu sia a tuo agio e felice.

Ho trascorso davvero un periodo fantastico nella fattoria! Ho imparato così tanto, dalla produzione del formaggio al ritmo di una fattoria lattiera in funzione. I compiti erano chiari e appaganti, ed è stato bello contribuire a una comunità così significativa. È una grande opportunità per imparare nuove abilità e vivere in una parte meravigliosa dei Paesi Bassi! Lo consiglio vivamente!

Lavorare e vivere in fattoria è stata un'esperienza meravigliosa. La fattoria è quasi interamente gestita da volontari locali ed è impressionante vederla e farne parte di un'organizzazione così unica. Il nostro soggiorno è stato molto comodo e non esiteremmo a raccomandare questa opportunità a chiunque sia interessato.

The experience at the farm was amazing! We spent two months sharing time with them and we loved it. We were very enthusiastic to learn the dairy farm work and we gained even more knowledge since they also have a dairy products business. We were lucky to also share the experience with two other volunteers from France, which made it very friendly and helped us a lot in learning. The hosts always make sure you are well and that there is a good working environment. We recommend this experience 100%, where they will allow you to learn and help you throughout the process.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the farm. There are opportunities to learn so much about sustainable farming practices, caring for cows, cheese and dairy production. As well as getting to know many friendly locals who also help with all aspects of the farm. I spent most of my time working with Luuk the dairy farmer, he's fun to work with and great at teaching new skills. I will miss cycling through the beautiful countryside here and all the great internationally inspired food you can have as well, especially the vlaflips for dessert 😃🇳🇱🐄🚜🧀 Do yourself a favour and give it a go!

La experiencia fue enriquecedora, divertida y llena de personas maravillosas, el trabajo es agradable aunque un poco repetitivo, pero te brindan la opción de realizar diferentes tareas incluso saliendo de la granja, para mi es la primera vez pero seguramente no será la última, es muy importante el manejar un inglés bueno para las personas que se decidan por esta oportunidad. Gracias a Joanna y johannnes por permitirme pasar 2 meses en su maravilloso proyecto 🐄🐄🥛🥛🧀🧀🍻🥳🥳

The farm is an avantgarde company that puts sustainable agriculture as its north star—perfect for agriculture students or anyone curious about organic farming, dairy, or cheese making. It's a safe space to learn; many of the people I worked with are volunteers, and all skill levels are welcome. You'll help with dairy production, milking cows, arable farming, and distribution. Ask Alijanna to schedule tasks based on your interests—she's kind and flexible. Meals use organic ingredients, and you're welcome to join, cook, or eat solo. I'm grateful to say I'm home away from home.

In general I had a pretty good experience. People that work there and the other volunteers are very nice, and you are going to hear Dutch all the time. The work usually has a little routine to be done, depending on what you are doing, usually starting at 9. It is flexible on the days off, and also in the type of work according to your needs. The work also can be quite heavy on the body, since you need to work with 12kg cheeses. I recommend this experience if you want to learn more about cheeses and dairy production.
