This document outlines the rules, terms, and conditions for volunteers participating in our Hotel Program in Albania for housekeeping support(June 1–September 10). We would welcome 1–2 volunteers per cycle with hotel cleaning experience. Volunteers work 30 hours per week with 2 floating days off on a rotating schedule. In exchange, volunteers receive free shared accommodation and 3 meals daily (either purchased groceries or cooked meals). Volunteers are responsible for their own travel and insurance. The minimum stay is 3 weeks
1. Cleaning of 13 Serviced Apartments (Only After Check-Out and Before Check-In):
Bedroom Cleaning:
Change bed linens and pillowcases.
Dust all surfaces, including shelves, tables, and decorations.
Sweep and mop floors.
Vacuum carpets and rugs.
Empty trash bins and replace liners.
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
Bathroom Cleaning:
Deep clean toilet, sink, bathtub, and shower.
Sanitize faucets, handles, and surfaces.
Replace used towels and toiletries.
Mop and sanitize floors.
Clean mirrors and glass partitions.
Kitchen Cleaning:
Wipe down countertops, cabinets, and appliances.
Clean and sanitize sinks.
Empty and clean the trash bin.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
Check and clean kitchen utensils, plates, and cutlery.
2. Regular Cleaning Tasks (Common Areas and Outdoor Spaces):
Common Areas:
Sweep and mop hallways, staircases, and lobby.
Dust and wipe down furniture and fixtures.
Clean windows and mirrors in public areas.
Empty trash bins and replace liners.
Maintain cleanliness of the reception area.
Clean and organize any shared kitchen or lounge area.
Outdoor and Backyard Maintenance:
Sweep and clean the backyard and garden pathways.
Water and maintain potted plants and flower beds.
Remove debris, fallen leaves, or litter.
Wipe down outdoor furniture.
3. Deep Cleaning Tasks (Scheduled Weekly or as Needed):
Deep clean all windows (interior and exterior) in common areas.
Steam clean carpets and upholstered furniture in common areas.
Deep clean kitchen appliances (microwave, oven, refrigerator).
Polish wooden surfaces and metal fixtures.
Remove any stains on walls or surfaces in common areas.
Conduct a thorough check for dust in hidden corners.
4. Additional Tasks (As Required)
Program Overview

2. Eligibility Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old.
A recent police background check (dated May 2025 or later) is mandatory.
A valid passport and a completed declaration to Albanian state authorities for your stay are required, as mandated by law.
3. Code of Conduct
Volunteers must maintain polite, respectful, and professional behavior toward guests, hosts, and colleagues at all times.
Discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Any breach of the code of conduct may result in immediate termination.
4. Ethical and Child Safeguarding Standards
Volunteers are required to adhere to all ethical guidelines and child safeguarding standards.
Any suspicion of child abuse, exploitation, or neglect must be immediately reported to management.
5. Work Responsibilities
Cleaning tasks will be assigned for a minimum of 4 hours per day.
Volunteers must complete cleaning tasks to a satisfactory level, ensuring high client ratings in cleanliness.
Tasks may include cleaning guest rooms, public areas, bathrooms, and other designated spaces.
Volunteers must use cleaning products responsibly, following safety guidelines.
6. Health and Safety
Volunteers must adhere to all health and safety protocols, including the correct use of cleaning agents and equipment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
Any injury or safety concern must be reported immediately.
