Sono arrivato estremamente stressato dopo una lunga giornata di viaggio, ma subito dopo aver incontrato Simona mi sono sentito a mio agio. Non posso dire abbastanza cose buone su di lei. È così facile e divertente parlare con lei. E davvero un essere puro. Lei si è assicurata al 100% che il mio soggiorno fosse fantastico e ha spiegato tutto molto chiaramente. Ho badato ai suoi figli nei primi due giorni e ai gatti per tutta la settimana del mio soggiorno. I bambini sono super facili e dolci — per lo più giocavano sui loro dispositivi quando la mamma era via, haha. E i gatti sono gentili e molto amichevoli. E Max al piano di sopra è così gentile! Ho fatto escursioni di un giorno a Zurigo, Baden e Lucerna, che sono state incantevoli. Grazie!

I was pretty nervous before I arrived because it was my first solo trip and volunteering experience outside of my home country. But when I arrived, I felt at ease. I got a warm welcoming from Simona, her kids and the two cats - Badem and Lolo - who were adorable! The work was simple and hours respected. I had plenty of free time to walk around the neighbourhood and explore. I even got on a weekend trip to Interlaken and Bern. The family showed me a lot of kindness and warmth. Thank you for this opportunity and for having me!

Questa è stata la mia prima esperienza con Worldpackers e mi sono divertito molto! Simona e i suoi bambini sono così dolci e sono stati nel complesso molto accoglienti e mi hanno fatto sentire a casa. I compiti erano semplici e il quartiere era tranquillo e splendido. Raccomando pienamente questa esperienza di volontariato; ho passato un tempo incredibile qui :)

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't have picked anyone better than Simona. Right away I felt right at home, Simona and her children were the nicest people I've met and it was an incredible experience. Communication was excellent and Simona would always let me know what help was needed that day. Simona also always made sure I was doing okay and had everything I needed. Say yes to everything because you're going to want to experience everything! I recommend this 100%! I had the absolute best time and you will too!

I due mesi nella casa di Simona sono stati un periodo davvero speciale, per il quale sono molto grato. Sono stato calorosamente accolto sin dall'inizio e mi sono sentito a casa. Ho giocato molto con i bambini e con il gatto e ho riso. Mi mancano molto la splendida Isabel (5 anni), che veniva sempre da me per mostrarmi il gatto Popcorn. Ricordo anche con molto affetto Elaine (7 anni), con la sua grande creatività e i suoi meravigliosi sogni. David rimane anche nel mio cuore – con il suo nodo di judo, le sue danze e i suoi giochi allegri.

È stata la mia prima esperienza con Worldpackers, e onestamente non avrebbe potuto essere migliore! Mi sono sentito molto accolto. I compiti erano semplici, e ogni volta che si verificava qualcosa di inaspettato, lo risolvevamo insieme. Simona è una persona straordinaria: super generosa, comprensiva e con un cuore enorme. Ogni volta che avevo bisogno di qualcosa, lei era sempre lì per aiutarmi con pazienza e flessibilità. Ho imparato molto sulla cultura svizzera, ho potuto viaggiare per la Svizzera e vedere anche più di quanto avessi pianificato. I bambini sono adorabili e facili da conoscere; abbiamo giocato, riso e ci siamo divertiti molto insieme. Raccomando davvero questa esperienza!❤

Volunteering at Simona's home was a truly grounding and heartwarming experience. From day one, I felt safe, welcomed, and free to be myself. Simona is transparent, respectful, and her family has a beautiful energy. Taking care of the kids was easy and enjoyable; they're independent, sweet, and fun to be around. The village of Remetschwil is quiet and surrounded by nature, perfect for those who enjoy a slower pace, and at the same time, it's well-connected.

My experience with Simona and her kids was incredible. I felt really confortable from the beginning, all the hours and days are respected as it says on the app, and one week I even had to change the days that I could work because I had to fly unexpectedly and Simona was really flexible and understanding. The position really says it all, I sometimes cooked, watched for the kids, but most of all was helping around the house with cleaning and making order. I really recommend this volunteering position!

I absolutely loved my time with Simona! From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with warmth and excitement right away at the baggage claim. This comforted all my fears immediately of traveling solo to a new Country. The upstairs apartment was clean, modern, and very spacious - an ideal home away from home. Simona went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and cared for in many ways. I highly recommend spending time with Simona and helping out with her lovely children and beautiful home. It truly was a memorable and heartwarming experience.
