We reopened our hostel in August, 2025 so first we had a lot of renovation work done! But luckily, we are past that stage and we're up and running since September this year!
From October we’ll be looking for all-rounders to help keep things flowing. That means helping at the reception, doing some housekeeping, maybe organizing a guest activity or two—basically being part of the everyday magic of the hostel life.
If you’ve got a skill you’d love to share—photography, yoga, painting, DIY, whatever—we’re always open to new ideas.
If you can only stay 2 weeks --> this is possible for housekeeping only!
Staying >3 weeks --> we train you for reception as well :)
Generally, your main activities will be:
- Welcoming visitors, tourists or guests with warmth and friendliness, helping to create a pleasant experience.
- Assisting in the organization and maintenance of the reception area, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Performing general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, cleaning surfaces, tidying common areas and keeping the place pleasant at all times.
- Working as a team with other volunteers and local staff, promoting a collaborative and friendly environment.
We want to create a schedule for all the volunteers to make you enjoy your time in Pucón to the fullest.
Normally you get 4 working days, and 3 days off per week. You'll have 1 day of double shift (2x5hrs), and 3 more days of 5hours shifts.
Shifts can be:
- Reception
- Housekeeping & cleaning the common areas
We expect you to be punctual, respectful and responsible with your given shifts and with all the backpackers staying in the hostel. This is 100% priority and we have zero tolerance for misbehaviour towards our hosts and ourselves.
