Traducción I was made to feel very welcome by Upeksha. She cooked us some delicious meals, showed us round the facilities and told us what we could do in our spare time. Unfortunately, due to a problem with my visa, I had to leave a little earlier than planned, but I would have been more than happy to stay longer.

Absolutely lovely experience!! Upeksha and Anoj are a lovely couple who really went of their way to make sure I was comfortable, fed and looked after. They also gave me a helpful list of activities I could partake in around the extremely rural area. My girlfriend was at a different volunteer position and had to leave, but Upeksha and Anoj did their best to arrange transport for her and let her stay there the rest of the week. Upeksha was always checking we had everything we needed and made us three meals a day, as well as ensuring our safety whilst we were out!

Anoj and Upeksha are welcoming, kind and caring hosts. They communicated beforehand that there was not much work. But they give a lot of options on what to do in your free time. We loved the Pekoe trail. Upeksha helped with the right instructions, which I really appreciate. The food was wonderful and the kittens were so cute! Thank you for the stay.

Despite the bad weather and the damage caused by the storm before we arrived, our hosts kindly took us to a tea plantation and showed us many interesting places nearby. We cooked Sri Lankan food together and doing my own laundry. I also enjoyed teaching English and Japanese culture to the children. I had many unique experiences that I could'nt have had in my country. The host family were very friendly and welcoming, and I had a wonderful time with them and their adorable cats and dogs. 日本ではできない体験がここではできます。自然に囲まれて、フレンドリーな家族と可愛い猫や犬達と共に自給自足を楽しめます。一緒に料理をしたり、お茶農園やお寺にも連れて行ってくれるので色々な体験ができました。

My sister and I spent 6 amazing and relaxing days here with Anoj and Upeksha. Despite the rain, they went out of their way to make sure we created wonderful memories, which we truly appreciated. They always made us feel like a part of the family. We loved cooking together and their meals were absolutely delicious. We would definitely love to come back in the future! 残念ながら雨であまり畑のお手伝いなどはできませんでしたが、AnojとUpekshaはディープランテーションやお寺に連れて行ってくれたり、最大限私たちが楽しめるようアレンジしてくれました！お家には、可愛い猫と犬もいて、とても癒されました。彼らの料理はとても美味しく、一緒にクッキングしたり、スリランカ料理の作り方を教えてくれました。自然に囲まれた場所でゆっくりしたい方におすすめです！

I had the most amazing 5 day stay. It rained most of the time so there wasn't much work to do outside. I mainly helped with jobs around the house and with cooking. Anoj and Upeksha welcomed me in like family. They look us out when able to the tea factory tour, the temple and the Pekoe trail which I loved. There was plenty of down time which was so nice to rest and reset amongst nature and the Sri Lankan culture. I have learnt so much and would highly recommend everyone to come here.

I had the best time staying in Upeshka's and Anoj's home, from the moment I arrived I was welcomed in and felt very comfortable there. There is not much work required of you, but you get to fully immerse yourself in the beautiful nature that surrounds there home. Upeshka was so kind and knew so much about the area, it was very interesting learning from her. She also took us to a tea factory, waterfall and a Buddhist temple which was a highlight of my stay. To anyone considering this experience I highly reccomend!!

I had an amazing experience on Upeksha and Anojs farm in the centre of Sri Lanka. It is a beautiful place to stay and immurse yourself in nature. I got to help out planting some tea trees! And as it wasn't harvest season I had plenty of free time to visit some cool waterfalls, do some of the Pekoe Trail and even Adam's Peak for sunrise. They are extremely nice and accommodating people. I would recommend everyone who wants life to slow down and relax to come here for a little escape. Thanks for everything!!!

Me and my friend spent 5 days here and we had such a relaxing and enjoyable time! Upkesha and the rest of her family made us feel very welcomed and apart of them! We definitely want to come back when it's more peak season :)

Had such an amazing stay here!! The weather wasn't quite on our side so there wasn't much work but we had been warned about that already and it was such a nice break from travelling. It's so peaceful and Anoj and Upeksha were so welcoming and made you feel like part of the family immediately. We still managed to go to a tea plantation, see the local hospital, visit Hatton town and go to the family's monastery which were all really interesting. There were still lots of options for walks as well. Highly recommend staying here, we definitely plan a return! Some very cute animals too 🫶🏻
