Il wok con gli animali è stato incredibile. Si poteva vedere come i cani si sono abituati a te e hanno mostrato la loro personalità con te. E è davvero un'esperienza significativa. La vita nel villaggio è molto tranquilla e rilassante. Ma devi avere la pelle dura con Monica.

Questa è stata la nostra prima esperienza con world packers e ci siamo divertiti. I compiti erano come descritti ed è stato bello interagire con i cani. La maggior parte di loro amano la gente e sono così felici quando ricevono attenzioni. Abbiamo avuto una cucina per cucinare il nostro cibo e giocare con i cuccioli nel tempo libero. Tuttavia, Monica è stata estremamente difficile da gestire. Si aspetta che tu voglia lavorare tutto il giorno e non riconosce metà del tuo lavoro. Ha detto che siamo pigri e ci lamentiamo troppo, anche se non l'abbiamo mai fatto. Dawn e il gruppo di volontari hanno molto contribuito a rispondere alle domande.

Il volontariato nel il rifugio è stato un'esperienza personalmente gratificante. Il lavoro è stato duro come ci si aspettava, ma è stato anche molto gratificante fare la differenza nella vita di questi cani. La maggior parte dei cani era davvero affettuosa e adorabile. Li terrò nel mio cuore. Tuttavia, lavorare con Monica non era facile. A volte è stata molto rispettosa nei nostri confronti? Ha? No, è stata molto irrispettosa nei nostri confronti. So che ciò è in parte dovuto allo stress enorme che affronta con il carico di lavoro da così tanto tempo, soprattutto per la sua età. Ma questo non scusa il suo comportamento. il rifugio è adatto alle persone che lavorano duramente e amano i cani :)

Ciao:) la mia esperienza è stata unica e posso dire con sicurezza che tornerò in futuro. Mettere impegno e amore in un branco di cani che vogliono solo ricevere un po' di amore è stato esattamente ciò che mi aspettavo e non sono rimasto deluso. La vita quotidiana ti farà consumare tonnellate di cibo e dolci) Ho davvero apprezzato questa opportunità, con il mio meraviglioso team <3, vi amo!! Naturalmente non ogni secondo è sereno e in alcune occasioni può sembrare molto, ma... ti stai candidando presso un rifugio per cani. Questi sono esseri viventi e hanno bisogno di cure.. Monica nasconde il suo buon cuore.

My time at the the shelter was one full of learning and rewarding experiences. The work itself is tiring, repetitive and can be rather unpleasant. I enjoyed the time I got to spend with the dogs. On the other hand, I found Monica difficult to work with. Unfortunately, I ended my time at the the shelter earlier than planned due to Monica and other incidents that occurred. I felt unprepared for what I was getting myself into. Despite the difficulties, I felt that I learned a lot about myself, my resilience, and Romanian culture. I respect the work Monica does and will cherish the memories made.

Very rewarding work, all of the dogs are wonderful and always so happy to receive belly rubs. The work is pretty easy but you will have to be thorough. Definitely recommend the the shelter, I felt like I made an impact on the animals. It was difficult to leave.. Monica was difficult in the beginning, she is under a lot of stress from many different things. After I learned enough Romanian to understand Monica without always needing a translator, she stopped being difficult. She is a wonderful woman if you just get to know her, but you are going to have to try hard.

I really enjoyed my time at the the shelter. The dogs were amazing and non of them were aggressiv torwards human. I can really recommend this place to anyone who wants to help and enjoyes spending time with dogs.

It was my first experience in a the shelter and most of the things were new to me even though the tasks were easy, but tiring and repetitive sometimes, not to say dirty but it's what you applied for. I can say I managed the workload pretty well. Monica, however, has a bad temper, making it hard to get along with her at times, also the language barrier interferes and doesn't help. Despite this, I definitely enjoyed being surrounded by the animals in a beautiful location and I received lots of love from them.

Whilst staying at the the shelter I had the most amazing time looking after the dogs and spending time with them. It really is a rewarding place to volunteer as you can see the progress made by some of the newer dogs in terms of their confidence. However I would say I had a tricky time with Monica, there was a language barrier which made some things get lost in translation. As well as that she could be quite harsh which was probably brought on by the stress of looking after all the dogs however it meant that it was sometimes very hard to get along. That being said I would hugely recommend staying :)
