Il mio soggiorno con Elizabeth e Faroukh è stato assolutamente meraviglioso! Sono i custodi più dolci della terra e hanno tantissime conoscenze sulla natura, sulle piante, sulla costruzione, sulla terra, sulla storia e sulla vita in generale! È stata un'esperienza davvero fantastica stare con loro per due settimane e non dimenticherò mai la loro generosità e come hanno aperto la loro casa a uno sconosciuto come me. Ho imparato molto sulle piante e sugli alberi, qualche trucco nuovo sull'edilizia e sui lavori di riparazione e abbiamo condiviso tante risate e del cibo ottimo! Raccomando vivamente questa opportunità Worldpackers a tutti!

La fattoria è stata così gentile e accogliente fin dall'inizio. Sembrava proprio la mia nonna vera, e sono riuscito a sentirmi a casa. La sua cucina era assolutamente incredibile — così buona che a volte mi sentivo in colpa per aver mangiato pasti così deliziosi per il lavoro che avevo fatto! Ero circondato dalla vera natura lontano dalla città. È stato un po' difficile abituarsi a uno stile di vita diverso da quello della città, ma la fattoria mi ha portato a pesca e in spiaggia, così ho potuto anche godermi il mio tempo libero. Penso che questo posto sia particolarmente adatto a chi guida. Ovviamente, va bene anche senza una macchina!

I planned to stay with the farm for a week and ended up staying for three because I enjoyed it! the farm truly welcomes you into her home like extended family and the property is beautiful. If you work hard you will be rewarded with delicious lunches and groceries for you to prepare your own dinner/breakfast. I truly felt like I was getting a taste of Australian life and I really enjoyed refurbishing furniture, helping with renovation work and tidying. On rest days the farm took me fishing or to the local beach and the evenings are chilled with films.

My friend and I had the best time staying with the farm! Her property is lovely but she is the true gem at DreamAcres. She is extremely generous: taking us to see local places, letting us borrow her car, cooking amazing meals for us, and even allowing us to stay in her bedroom while her usual guest space was occupied. the farm had the most interesting stories and a lot to teach us about life on land- I feel as though I left her farm with a healthier mindset than when I arrived. The work itself here is matched to your capabilities, I recommend to anyone who's willing to put in effort!

The farm made us feel welcome right off the bat! She made us feel like family and told us to make ourselves at home in the kitchen whenever we feel like. She was also kind enough to let us use her car whenever we wanted (brave because we're American and not used to driving in the left, but all went well!). She even let us take her room to have two beds. The workload was as promised, if not a little lighter because she knew we are new to the whole farm life, but we still learned a lot and got to plant our own goodbye trees! Also, the dogs are amazing :). I would definitely stay here again!

Oh Raegan‼️Mi mancano già le tue risatine!!! Per quanto riguarda più lavoro - beh, non avevo il cuore a sapere che nessuno di voi aveva esperienza pregressa come lavoratori agricoli! Ma entrambi avete fatto un lavoro incredibile con la potatura degli arbusti🙏❣️ Forse serve un po' più di abilità per rendere una parete di vetro da 5,8 m priva di aloni🤣🤣‼️❣️👍

I have been at the farm's beautiful property for two weeks, where i had the pleasure to work with/for her in exchange of a nice private room, private bathroom and meals.. I highly recommend this place if you are a solo traveler or a couple looking for a place to stay in Queensland for a while; The property is 20-25 minutes with car from the big city called Bundaberg.
