CasAMARelo Hostel
We are a shared space full of affection and genuine exchanges; when the traveler arrives here, they feel at home and become part of the whole. Everyone is welcome!
The hostel team is made up of many hands, currently led by Inayá, the owner and founder of the house, and Fred, the manager and chef of our affectionate kitchen. We are calm and we value everyone's well-being amid organization, cleanliness, and interactions.

It was very special to do my first volunteering at the hostel because I have a lot of affection for this place, I went with an open heart and I was surprised by so many good moments I spent there. Regarding the tasks, some divisions aren’t very clear and end up causing overlapping duties. It would be possible to think of many improvements for the volunteers, which also require greater attention, since they are, practically, the only staff members in the house

The hostel is a beautiful place for the LGBTQ+ community. You will always find friendly people to go out, chat, and share.
Breakfast was easy to make; I would have liked to be able to share my culinary culture and not be stuck to the menu.

I knew it would be a good experience but I never imagined so much , from the beginning you could perceive the energy so carefully cared for and respected and worked by Inayá💛 All the people are in sync which makes living together wonderful and truly believe that things can be done differently. Extremely grateful and hoping to return !

Without a shadow of a doubt, this was the best volunteering experience of my life. casAmarElo, is a welcoming environment, exudes good energy and lightness, which brings out the best in us. Allowing us to express our creativity, I participated in a geo-tinta workshop, made crafts and even drew, lol. The hostel is one minute from the beach, bars, restaurants and a pharmacy, very well located. Schedules are respected and there is flexibility in changing shifts when needed. The team is quite united, always working in harmony.

My second time in this wonderful house!! Inayá as always, was a light that shines bright. I feel at ease to be who I am and I have more pleasure in contributing to Casa Amarelo, which is in full expansion in every way!! I highly recommend it, especially if you want to work from the inside out, to receive and be!
The activities are like any hostel I’ve stayed at, but get ready to go up and down stairs, and it’s worth it, because there are wonderful beaches right in front; in a few steps you’re already on the sand.
