I see I do school
Our place is a great opportunity for you to discover real Cambodian life and meet some authentic people while you discovering more about education and gardening.
We are working with 3 teachers : Linna, Leakhana and Shoceat Tra. There are very welcoming and will love to show you around.
We also have a gardener, Mike, who is really kind.
If you decide to join our team, you will be part of the family and you won't regret it!

The the school was my first volunteer experience and what a time. I am from nz and Samoan and the stay reminded me of island living so prepare to enjoy rural landscapes with the best views. Something about Cambodian sunsets that just make the whole place feel magical. You are living like a local which was what I wanted to experience. Alot of love mr Kim , amom and his family have for the community . The kids here really keen on learning too and so excited during lessons. Be ready to work and really engage yourself in local living. It's an experience you need to do

Amazing experience and place to truly engage with locals and make a difference. I ended up leaving early only because it was the school holidays and most of the work I ended up helping with could be done remotely! the the school and location is so beautiful - it's very rural so be prepared for the heat and a little bit of non-western living! Mr.Kim is an incredible man with so much passion for helping people and is great at communicating. He is super flexible and easy to get along with! I highly recommend this experience!

I had such a wonderful experience volunteering. The children were incredibly kind, curious, energetic, and full of personality. Spending time with them and being able to contribute, even in a small way, was truly meaningful. What I loved most was getting to know the students, sharing moments with them, and seeing their enthusiasm for learning. This experience gave me memories that I will carry with me for a long time.

Questa è stata la mia prima esperienza di volontariato con Worldpackers, e non poteva iniziare meglio di così. Sono stata solo otto giorni e mi è sembrato un mese, ho legato subito sia con la famiglia che con i bambini e al momento di salutare mi sentivo molto triste :( Mi sento fortunatissima ad aver incontrato Mr. Kim, una persona da cui bisogna solo prendere esempio! Super consiglio a chiunque di venire qui. Con i bambini all'inizio può essere molto stressante gestire le classi (se siete da soli) però datevi tempo.. dopo un paio di giorni imparerete a conoscerli e andrà meglio!

Mr. Kim is a really amazing. He makes a big difference.I'm grateful I got to work with him.I was alone for the first 4 days and it was lonely and overwhelming at first.As a 1. Volunteer it was hard for me to adapt.It took 3 days to understand what the kids knew/how to handle class.The gardening is really hard, there are not a lot tools + it's hot.When the other volunteer arrived it was fun +the kids were manageable. I would recommend it to people who can selforganise. It needs a more organisation on what to do with the kids (like a schedule/ how to teach) Bring entertainment or friends. Thanks
