Il vino e le Rose
Hi, I am Massimiliano and I live together with my business partners and
friend Marcìa, our dogs Ettore and Eco and our cats Frozen and Estrella,
that live with us in a beautiful location up in the hills in the
north of Italy, surrounded by nature and vineyards.
We live with what we produce by looking after some animals,
(chickens, and two cows) our vegetable patch, our wineyards and our natural wines.
This is a special place and we are introducing interesting and new
experiences.
This is really peaceful and isolated place, although we are only few
minutes away from the nearest village and less than 1hour driving
from Milan.
We enjoy life away from the hectic routine and we have fun by
playing music and cook many different dishes.
I am a keen cook and I like to try new recipes, drink good
wine and watch wonderful sunsets.
I also host people in my house, with rural hospitality formula. We cook and eat with them and exchange ideas, thoughts and laughs.
PS: we Don't accept couples anymore.

MASSI é um excelente anfitrião, ele de fato se preocupa com todos os voluntários e com o bem estar geral. É um Master chef de mão cheia, faz questão de cozinhar diariamente e ter todos à mesa no almoço e no jantar. Isso é muito cultural e valioso. As tarefas são bem distribuídas, no período que fiquei lá, estávamos fazendo remontagem e troca de tanques ( os vinhos). Uma experiência incrível e totalmente diversa. A Villa, onde mantém um Airbnb, também é bem tranquilo referente às tarefas. Massi trata os voluntários como parte da família. Sds do Oasi !

I truly had the best experience with Massimiliano and the other worldpackers! Massi is caring and fun-loving, as well as an amazing cook. I enjoyed meeting other travelers and we all became comfortable very quickly. Learning about the wine process was very interesting, and we had a lot of independence once we learned how to do certain processes. Pumpover and press were easy to learn and it was satisfying to be part of the making of this year's wines. The dogs and cats are super sweet. We ate well and had lots of fun. Come prepared with a karaoke song! I will definitely be coming back <3

I loved it! except the wasps Massi was a great host - generous, knowledgeable, passionate & forgiving Big personality & highly opinionated but keen on listening to feedback to improve himself and his business His philosophy for volunteer experience is self-organisation & communal living Massi & Penny are the best cooks! Grateful to have learnt about processing natural wines & be part of the production of Massi's 2026 wine. There's lots to do here if you take the initiative We laughed, we cried, we sang, we danced, we ate, we drank, but most importantly, we loved Will definitely be back 🫶🏻

Mi experiencia en el viñedo fue muy completa. Vine principalmente para aprender sobre el viñedo y tuve la oportunidad de participar en todo el proceso, desde la cosecha hasta el embotellado, que fue sin duda lo que más disfruté. También ayudé con los animales, la huerta y la hermosa Villa donde reciben huéspedes cada semana. Penny fue muy atenta y siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros. Agradezco a Massi por abrirnos las puertas de su casa y darnos libertad para organizarnos y asumir responsabilidades. Creo que con un poco más de comunicación y organización, la experiencia podría mejorar.

I had a wonderful time volunteering at Oasi di Masterone, I made lovely friends, learned a great deal about natural winemaking, and enjoying a rich cultural immersion into the Italian lifestyle. This is truly a special place to stay, waking up every morning to the sound of the roosters, then heading upstairs to feed the puppies was a joy. As a winemaker myself I enjoyed time in the cellar doing pumpovers, bottling, and watching over the wine during each step of fermentation. I will absolutely be returning to this magical place again, to enjoy a meal and a bottle of wine with my friend Massi.
