Te Konaku

Our property is a new and unique one build in a remote area where guests come to find peace, tranquility and relaxation. Volunteers can connect with nature, swim, kayak, hike and also learn how to manage a guesthouse, host, bartend, clean etc.

The property is family owned and operated. It`s me, my dad and my sister who are most of the time there working, hosting and doing everything needed and there will be 1 or 2 other employees (friend or family also). Volunteers will be considered as part of the family and I think you`ll enjoy your time here.

The guest house was truly one of the best experiences of my life. I spent one month volunteering at the guest house on Lake Komani, and honestly, it is hard to put into words how special this place is. I came to Albania expecting an adventure, but I left with memories, friendships, and an experience that I know I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The location itself is absolutely unbelievable. Waking up every day surrounded by the mountains and the water of Lake Komani feels almost unreal. It is one of those places where you can sit outside, look around, and genuinely forget about everything.

Me and my friend Ethan volunteered here the owner aleksander was a great host along with his sister rosy and Daniel the work was good but I wasn't very good at cleaning. The serving was fun to connect with the guests as well. The place is fairly remote but it's a good change of pace to slow down and breathe. There was a lot of great times spent here cliff jumping and everyone played cards together and hung out it was fun. Even though I may have broke more dishes than I could count at te kanoku they didn't get upset and we all laughed and made jokes. Great experience!

My experience was good. The tasks align with what we agreed, but you need to be efficient to complete them in time; The workload can be heavy but maneageable if you stay organized. It took me a few days to adapt and I got very tired at first. The family is kind and communication is easy if you also take initiative. The food was good (I'm veggie and the basics were covered) Cleaning the rooms can be tough, specially when there are less than 4 volunteers (in my opinion should be the minimum) The place is a dream come true. I am very grateful with Rozita, Danjelito and Aleksander <3

Had a lovely experience at the guest house, with the most kind, welcoming hosts - thank you Aleksander & Rozie for all the care, top notch food (3 meals a day - thank you Daniel!), drinks (having a couple here and there and bringing some to the river with us too), kayaks (whenever we wanted) and great hospitality. We cleaned 3 hrs in the morning (less if we were fast), then I spent my remaining 2.5 hrs ironing sheets with the machine (others did dinner/lunch service). I tracked my own hours and they were respected by the hosts. Will truly miss the family dinners, nature and gorgeous views ♥️

I don't recommend going there to anyone. If you go there, you won't want to leave. The work is simple and responsible, working with the hosts is easy, simple and fun, and the food is Delicious. Beautiful nature, silence and peace that can be felt not only in the outside world but also within y Ourselves. The hosts are hospitable, caring and family-oriented. I know what I'm talking about. I broke five plates there, and they didn't even beat me up)) Although maybe they don't know about it yet)))
