I stayed 2.5 weeks at the Valley Hostel Tayrona and honestly had such an amazing time. The whole team working there is incredibly nice and welcoming and made me feel like family when I arrived. The work was pretty chill and easy to understand and the working hours were totally manageable aswell. In the evening often all the volunteers and the staff members joined in on the daily activities and came together afterwards to chill and talk, which I always really enjoyed. Thanks to all the staff for everything...I am gonna miss you all!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Valley hostel, this was my first time doing a work exchange so I didn't really know what to expect but was I blown away by how chill and relaxing this place was. Every single worker was so kind and lovely and always had a smile on their face. Laura, the manager was very sociable and treated as more of a friend than one of her employe. I would also like to give a shout-out to Dubon and Santiago who would always make sure I was having a good time. Overall, think I got lucky with this work exchange as I don't think I'll be able to find anything that'll top it!

This volunteering was a dream, the tasks were clear, it's close to the tayrona park, I loved the swimming pool and the nets, 2 weeks of chllin on the hostel and nice time with the workers and other volunteers

I had a really great time ! The staff is so nice, the shifts are great too. This place is a paradise, lost in the hostel, easy to connect with people. I would highly recommend to volunteer there.

I really enjoyed my time volunteering at the Valley. The hostel facilities are beautiful and the remote location is perfect to disconnect. It was my first time working at reception and I learned a lot! The staff was super nice and helpful and we had a fun volunteer group. The hours were as agreed but sometimes there were changes to the schedule, but they tried to accommodate everyone's wishes. The only negative thing is that sometimes the lunch/dinner portions were quite small and we couldn't provide our own meals due to the location. Overall a great experience that I would recommend!

I taught yoga for almost 2 weeks and promoted activities and tours to the guests. Teaching was new for me and it was fun to learn and try something new. Duban trusted me to do my job and he gave me a lot of freedom to make my own schedule and choose when I wanted to do activities. Food is really nice, but a lot of carbs, so sometimes we were very hungry. It's right in the hostel (wonderful nature!). You connect mostly with international travelers from Europe, USA, Australia ect.

I really enjoyed my time volunteering at this incredible hostel in the middle of the hostel. Even arriving here was quite an adventure! Teaching yoga in such a beautiful, peaceful place was wonderful. It was also nice to have the opportunity to share the practice with guests from all around the world.
