J'ai passé un merveilleux moment chez Nico. J'ai passé quatre semaines là-bas, et il m'a traité comme un membre de la famille. J'ai appris énormément de choses amusantes, allant de faire du feu et de griller, aux coutumes et à la cuisine puglieses, à la philosophie de vivre et laisser vivre, et même quelques expressions thaïlandaises. Nico m'a présenté à la vie locale; nous sommes allés au marché, avons rendu visite aux voisins et à la plage. Le travail était un peu physiquement exigeant, mais quiconque aime le jardinage et être dans la nature en profitera, tout comme moi. Je le recommande vivement si vous cherchez un endroit paisible près de la nature.;)

J'ai passé un moment délicieux avec Nicola, découvrant la vie à la ferme italienne ! Nicola a fourni une nourriture incroyable et une chambre parfaite. Le travail était physique mais pas difficile et j'ai eu du temps pour me reposer. Nicola m'a accompagné tout au long de ses journées, allant au marché, à la plage, chez les voisins et travaillant dans le jardin, sur les oliviers et sur des projets de bricolage. Je le recommanderais ! :)

Nico m’a traité comme de la famille, et je ne pourrais pas être plus reconnaissant ! La maison est à seulement quelques kilomètres de la plage, à vélo, et entourée d’une belle nature (et de chats). J’ai appris tellement de recettes délicieuses, et comment jouer à Scopa :D C’était une expérience enrichissante que je porterai dans mon cœur pour toujours !

It was an incredible experience; I was able to get out of my comfort zone and learn so many new things. And let's not forget Nicola, who is an incredible host with a big heart, who is very kind and always ready to listen! I'll never forget the three weeks I spent in Manduria !! <3

I had a lovely time. For a metropolitan boy like me it was quite an experience to spend time in the countryside. The beach is near and very beautiful. I was also able to visit Lecce. Nico is a very kind person you can have good conversations with. He even took us to a village festivity and he prepares delicious food. The work was a bit tough but still alright. I would recommend staying there and bring sunscreen with you!

I was volenteering at Nico's place for a month and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The work is flexible and changing, food was delicious and the location is simply perfect for a remote getaway and getting in contact with nature. Nico is an amazing host, incredible chef and someone you definitely want to share a chat with:). For anyone looking to escape the city rush and connect with nature's this experience will not disappoint!

My time spent @ Nicos home was so great I ended up extended my stay a week! Nico is a fantastic host with lots to teach & makes you feel at home. He introduced me to his neibor who is also lovely & into nature / good food! The recipes we swapped & chats we had will not be forgotten :) The work is hard but rewording, the room is great & the local town by bike is not to far. I would happily return & I look forward to one day. Thanks again Nico! :)

Malheureusement, dernièrement j'ai eu un problème de connexion Internet et je n'ai pas pu laisser un commentaire pour Marco dans le délai imparti par l'application. (seulement 15 jours) Je prendrai le temps, au moins, de lui laisser un commentaire public :) Marco est un gars au grand cœur, très compétent et serviable; il aime toujours apprendre de nouvelles choses. J'espère le revoir bientôt ! Même si l'équipe worldpacker ne me permet pas de laisser un commentaire, je lui donne un 5+++ pour son séjour dans ma petite structure. Merci pour tout, Marco !!

I stayed one week longer than expected because i liked the place & Nico so much. Nico is a genuine and curious Person and appreciate every volunteer with the skills he brings along (we exchanged recipies about sourdough and Focaccia). The house is quite remote (next village 15 min by bike) and the work can be physically demanding, when you are okay with this, you will have an incredible time! This area in Puglia is a true gem. With Nico you can take a look behind the curtain, learn about local (environmental) challenges and the culture.

We had a great first WP experience in this project. Nicos place was beautiful and he was super welcoming and nice. Me and my Partner worked a lot on the olive harvest and some smaller project like sewing and drywall. We started work in the morning so we often had a lot of time to meet with other travelers or neighbors, go on hikes or take the bikes to the beach. Nico also cooked delicious food for us and baked some fresh bread which was just great. We had the best time and we definitely want to come back. Thank you for everything Nico!
