La mia esperienza di volontariato qui è stata complessivamente buona. Ho incontrato e stretto legami con molte persone interessanti provenienti da diversi paesi, e l’ostello stesso è bello e generalmente pulito. Sono grato per i momenti e per le amicizie che ho costruito qui.
Allo stesso tempo, penso che ci siano ancora diverse cose che potrebbero essere migliorate. A volte l'atmosfera sembrava un po' tesa, e ci sono state situazioni che avrebbero potuto essere gestite in modo migliore. Tuttavia, apprezzo l'esperienza perché mi ha insegnato molto e mi ha dato sia bei ricordi che lezioni.

Ho davvero fatto un'esperienza fantastica facendo volontariato qui! Ho effettivamente trascorso la maggior parte del mio tempo nell'altro ostello di Claas, poiché Villa era in ristrutturazione, ma è stato comunque un piacere contribuire. Claas è una persona molto gentile, di mentalità aperta, che crea un'atmosfera rispettosa e accogliente in cui tutti si sentono a proprio agio. Ha due ostelli in città, entrambi con una grande atmosfera. I compiti sono semplici e i turni sono davvero tranquilli, quindi hai molto tempo libero per goderti la città. Tutti sono stati cordiali e collaborativi, il che ha reso l'esperienza nel complesso ancora migliore.

Claas è un ospite molto gentile, permettendoti di partecipare alle decisioni riguardanti i tuoi compiti, che non sono mai stati complicati e non hanno richiesto più ore di quelle previste. È aperto e flessibile. Sono stato in entrambi i suoi ostelli in città e entrambe le strutture sono abbastanza buone. Se vuoi trascorrere del tempo in città, ti consiglio davvero di lavorare all'Albania Hostel.

My experience at this hostel was absolutely amazing are host class was so welcoming easy to talk to and had such a fun and outgoing personality. Some of my fondest memories are class making the most delicious food and BBQ I have ever had such an amazing cook. Another amazing perk was that class would often buy lots of food so we could make breakfast lunches and dinner so if we didn't want to go out and spend money of food we had that option. All in all I had such an amazing first time working at a hostel class was so friendly easy to talk with and i will always have lasting memories.

This is a great exchange for independent people who take initiative and enjoy a chill vibe. It's not a party hostel, but we had fun rooftop nights with music, drinks, and cards. Class is supportive and always happy to help. I really appreciated how inclusivity (LGBTQ+ friendly, anti-racist) is clearly central to the space. The work is easy, with 2–3 days off weekly. Rooftop BBQs were unreal. I stayed during peak heat, which was hard, but it made me value cold showers, fans, and water. Highly recommend for anyone looking to meet great people, grow personally, and enjoy meaningful travel.

This was my first volunteer experience and it turned out to be really good and enriching. The tasks are simple — cleaning, reception shifts, and interacting with guests — and the rotating schedule gives you plenty of time to explore the hostel. The hostel is about a 20-minute walk from the city center and has a peaceful vibe, perfect for meeting other travelers or enjoying quiet time. The managers — Melisa, Joaquín, and Claas — are super friendly, open, and flexible. I felt welcome from day one. Thank you so much for the experience ☺️

My experience at the hostel was amazing. From the very first moment, you feel welcomed, as Class greets you kindly and explains your tasks in a natural way. The tasks are specific and simple. The place has an excellent location, making it very easy to get to know the hostel and its culture. The small meetings with the staff and the conversations between guests made the experience the best it could be. Thanks to the team and Class for this excellent experience.

Volunteering at the hostel was such a great experience! From day one, Claas, Melissa, and Joaquín were incredibly kind and welcoming. The vibe at the hostel is super friendly, and it was easy to connect with travelers from all over. The tasks were generally well organized, and we appreciated how clearly the shifts were communicated. Some days were a bit more full-on, so having an extra volunteer during peak times could definitely help. We'd absolutely love to come back one day and recommend this opportunity to anyone looking to be part of a fun, lively hostel environment!
