Was Sie bekommen

2 freie Tage pro Woche

Privatzimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem privaten Zimmer. Mit anderen Worten, ein Zimmer nur für dich.

Gemeinschaftszimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Reisenden teilst.

Team dorm: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Personen teilst.

Hej and welcome to our world!

We are Magnus & Theresa, a multicultural couple from Stockholm/London and Berlin.
 Magnus’ family is originally from Gotland, even though one of his great-grandmas was also from Berlin. He is half Swedish - half English, born in Stockholm and grew up partly there and in London. Living and working all over the world as a fashion and art photographer we finally met in Berlin, where Theresa was born and raised, and then moved together to Gotland.
 Theresa is a ballett&fire dancer, dance&movement pedagogue, circus trainer and yoga teacher.

Lucky circumstances, a lot of dreams and the inner urgency to not only create events for people but to create a whole community around them piled up over the past years and made us think of a use for this old neglected farm. We have been living there for quite some time already but finally took the step to transfer our visions into reality. The renovation works on the big old barns started in Dezember 2021 with the help of a gotlandic architect and his lovely team. We want to give life to this old farm and make it into a meeting point for people from far and near, from Sweden and from all over the world.

In summer 2026 we will have our first test run for some events, but since Sundre Kommun is a COMMUNITY and NOT a business, these events will be just in non-profit style because we are happy, if some donations fly in that will partly cover our initial expenses for organizing and executing these events. It's gonna be more like events from the community for the community, for friends & family and for people living at Sundre Kommun as well as our neighbours from the surrounding area.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

We are currently renovating our Culture Farm / Adventure place, where we want to host events in future that are related to art, theater, music, dance, circus, yoga, nature, health & mindfulness and the art of living in general. We want to build up a temporary community with annually varying constellations of diverse individuals that will gather during summer on the island.

And for finishing up the space we need a lot of help with...

... building an outdoor shower in the sauna garden
... building eco toilets (urgent !!!)
... creative outdoor projects
... fixing bikes (we are both very unskilled in regards to this)
... building an outdoor pizza oven with a friend of ours from Italy
... building an open fireplace (winter 2026/2027)
... building a treehouse (earliest in 2027)
... building an amphitheater (starting summer 2026, if we find enough people who would like to participate in this project)
... cooking & preparing meals
... general cleaning & washing the dishes
... cutting fire wood
... fixing furniture
... sorting material
... and many more...

The most social time is while cooking and around dinner time when everyone gets together after work and talks about the ups&downs of the day and shares thoughts/news/dreams/visions and other good stories - or we also watch movies on the screen in the BigBarn, play table tennis in the PingPongRoom, do little excursions around Sudret, take a sauna or a walk to the sunset spot ;-)

For 2026 we are organizing Sundre Kommun's structure in resorts with different main tasks / focusses:

- General help
- Cooking & storing food
- Prepare, plant, care, harvest & repeat
- DIY
- Social Media
- Yoga, Dance & Fire

Regeln

- Gotland is full of fossils and the island is happy, if it can stay that way
- please respect mother nature and leave no trash behind
- in summer Gotland suffers from a water shortage, therefore we need to handle it with
 extra care and refrain from long showering
- the water comes from a well, is filtered and drinkable
- but we definitely need to find a way to save more rain water
- in high summer season when it hasn’t rained for a few weeks, there are no fires allowed
 in the garden or at the beach
- BBQ with controlled/protected fire source is permitted though
