Such a great place to volunteer, I had such an amazing time and met some amazing people! The work is easy and chill, the breakfast is tasty. The overall vibe of this hostel is super chill and had good social areas. Also the free drinks were a great perk. Highly recommend!

I had a good experience volunteering at the hostel and would recommend it to backpackers looking for a social and friendly place. The atmosphere is very welcoming, with guests and volunteers creating a strong community where it is easy to meet people. The tasks are easy to learn and if there are any problems you can ask the manager for help. The volunteer dorm is small, has no windows, and can get warm, but everyone had a fan. The other facilities are very nice, especially the pool, the kitchen, the great bathrooms with good showers and the chill-out area.

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel, I couldn't have asked more of the experience! I feel like I've made a friend for life in Yoka (manager) and met some really cool people, fellow volunteers and guests. the hostel is a great place to volunteer while in Oaxaca. I communicated my desire to take Spanish lessons while volunteering to Yoka and I was accommodated. Flor & Marie work extremely hard to maintain a clean hostel and make a fantastic breakfast.

I loved my weeks volunteering at the hostel! Oaxaca has a lot more to explore than I thought, and along with the opportunity to go to Spanish classes, I'm glad I spent the time getting to know the town and everyone at the hostel better. the hostel would put on events each week which were fun, and I could help shape them (eg I got to run a trivia night and games night). Onboarding was pretty seamless, with Yoka taking lots of care to train new volunteers. The hostel itself is nice and comfy, with a pool and really good showers and kitchen. It was generally relaxed and chill, with a good party some nights!

Volunteering here was honestly such an amazing experience that I didn't want to leave and ended up extending my stay. From the beginning, the vibe was really welcoming. The team and the other volunteers made a big difference, everyone was kind, fun and just really nice to be around. The work is quite relaxed and manageable, so you still have plenty of time to enjoy the place and meet people. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about volunteering here :)

This was my first volunteering experience and I don't think it could've been any better! I felt super welcomed from the staff and other volunteers and the work was pretty chill as well. I didn't have set working hours. Instead I just worked whenever something at the Hostel was happening ( for example filming the salsa class in the evening) and doing daily insta stories. The communication with the social media manager Fatma was great as well! She was very supportive of all my Reel ideas and trusted me with creative decisions. I can definitely recommend volunteering at the hostel <3

Amazing host. The hostel manager, Yoka, was kind, patient, and did a good job explaining the role and responsibilities. She was a really good leader of the team and an excellent problem solver. Volunteers had a good amount of ability to suggest new things, for example I wanted to da weekly trivia night and we were able to make that happen. The dorm room is cozy and comfortable and each bed has a privacy curtain. Breakfast provided was tasty and a good portion size. Overall, no complaints. Very positive experience that I recommend!

Is a such a great time I experienced at the hostel, with all the staff, team and volunteers. I recomend for sure to travellers to volunteer here. Amazing people and lovely city actually in Oaxaca. The pool, the activities, tours and everything very good and organized. I loved my time here at the hostel and the city aswell. Thanks a lot for this experience and the welcoming. đź‘Ť
