It was a great experience hanging out with the guests and volunteers. I learned many new Portuguese words and so much about Rio culture as the hostal is situated in a beach town. The work is simple and Thiago was a really great host. He cook very delicious cozy food that helped us last all day. Thanks Thiago and the hostel. And yes there are monkeys too 🙈

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and peaceful. Thiago and the other volunteers were amazing , always friendly, helpful, and creating a really nice atmosphere. The place itself is incredible. It's very calm and surrounded by nature. There are also many beautiful hikes nearby, which made the stay even more special. I highly recommend to volunteer at this hostel to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil experience. I would definitely come back, thanks for everything!

I had a really great time during my stay. The host was very welcoming from the beginning and made me feel at home right away. I'm incredibly grateful for all the beautiful memories, new friendships, and experiences I gained here. I would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

I left 3 days into my work exchange, I wish I could attach photos to this review.. every mattress, pillow, and wall in my room was covered in mold. bugs in the beds. i was only fed 1 meal in total and it was a plate of rice. work schedule unclear. was accepted for gardening position but they don't have any gardening supplies. i was assured that my very limited portuguese would not be an issue yet no one there spoke really any english. i was basically shown to my room and left with no instructions until i left after getting sick. don't be fooled by the pics of the beautiful view. bad experience

It was my first WorldPackers experience and I spent a great time with them. If you are looking for a great place surrounded by nature, with nice staffs and far from everything else, it is certainly the right place to stay. I did all kinds of required work, since using my social media and advertising skills and also cleaning and all stuffs possible. It is usually a fair and nice place to work with flexible time, despite they required much more work than usual in the new year eve period and I didn't feel comfortable with this. So I recommend to you, except on this period of the year.

I really recommend the hostel!!!! The Owner, manager and other worldpackers are super friendly and make you feel at home! The hostel is really beautiful and it has an amazing view! It is close to several trails that take you to nice beaches! The work hours is fair and flexible depending of what you are doing! Its my second worldpacking experience and it could not have been better!!! :)

Minha estadia no the hostel foi muito boa. O hostel fica a 10 ou 15 minutos de caminhada morro acima da praia, com belas vistas para o mar ao longo do caminho. Se você procura um lugar tranquilo com várias praias para explorar a pé, eu recomendo. O hostel oferece uma vista deslumbrante. Tive uma experiência agradável e recebi ajuda para aprender detalhes sobre o local com um voluntário que já estava lá há algum tempo (Emanuel). Tiago, nosso anfitrião, me guiou pelas tarefas passo a passo. A comunicação foi clara, o que eu realmente apreciei! Ele também cozinha muito bem! Obrigada por tudo!

De nombreux worldpackers ont postulé à ce poste récemment. L'hôte ne pourra probablement pas répondre à toutes les candidatures, nous vous recommandons donc de postuler également auprès d'autres hôtes de notre communauté et pas seulement celui-ci :)
