My experience here was honestly amazing. From the beginning, the communication was super easy and everyone was very welcoming. I met so many amazing people & dogs🤎 here and I really appreciated how connected everyone was.

Such a lovely experience!! The place is absolutely beautiful and everyone is so lovely. Both the owners were so kind and clear on their expectations making the experience easy and fun. Loads of social events at the hostel to meet people I'm so sad to have missed full moon!! Would 100% go back :))

I was a social media volunteer at the hostel and I'd do it again. Real work, not busy work: content, captions, planning. Sam told me what he wanted the place to feel like and then let me figure out how to get there. That trust is why I actually learned something. The other volunteers make it, and the hostel outside the tourist spots is a different island. Come with some initiative and you'll get a lot out of it.

My friend Victoria and I spent an incredible time at the hostel as Worldpackers volunteers. While many say Nusa the hostel is just a "one-day trip," this hostel proves otherwise—with daily activities and a vibrant community, it's a place you actually want to call home. Our mission was content creation, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Josh and Sam were amazing, giving us the flexibility and trust to work with our own creative vision. The entire team is so welcoming, making it impossible not to feel like part of the family. We both highly recommend this opportunity :)

The hostel is a great place, in general is a very chill and good energy place, everyone is friendly and it is a very nice place, has a very nice swiming pool, the food an everything in the restaurant is delicious, Josh has a great vibe and everyone that is a part of this place is a great component, i will higly recomend this place to everyone

My favourite volunteering experience 💚 loved the vibes, the owners are so friendly and with all the colleagues it really feels like a family. I enjoyed the work and the activities to organize like events and full moon are super fun. The place is super beautiful and the food is so tasty I tried everything in the menu. Would totally reccomend, I made the best memories of my trip here!

This was my first volunteering experience and I truly couldn't have asked for a better host than Sam and Josh. They created such a welcoming, friendly, and comfortable environment from day one which made settling in so easy. The workload was fair and manageable, and it honestly never felt like I was “working”. It felt more like being part of a community and helping create fun and memorable experiences for travelers across the world. If you're considering volunteering here, I highly recommend it.

My first Worldpackers experience at the hostel couldn't have been better! The team feels like a family, and the owners (shoutout to Sam!) are amazing. As a hostel rep, you enhance the guest experience by setting up daily events. The activities are a refreshing change from party hostels; I loved the family dinners and Canang Sari workshops. It's a great way to immerse yourself in the culture. They also host a Full Moon Party that brings in people from all over the island. Tip: Have scooter experience before arriving. The roads are tough, and you might feel isolated without one.

I had THE BEST time volunteering at the hostel! From the moment I arrived, the whole team made me feel so welcome and at home. The hosts, Sam and Josh, are such communicative, friendly, and chill hosts — it created such an easygoing atmosphere where everyone could genuinely bond. The dorms were comfortable, the facilities were clean, the food was delicious, and the whole space had such a nice jungle vibe. They're also constantly improving the experience, which is amazing to see. Such a special experience — would HIGHLY recommend to future volunteers!
