The days at Mala and Nopy's house were incredibly fun, easy going and a perfect way to have a real local experience. The joy and energy you get from the kids at the school is amazing, so glad we can contribute even if just a little. After school in the morning, prepare for lots of daytrips to waterfalls, monkey forest, island hoping, whatever you feel like exploring, they take you there! Thank you so much for the amazing time, the house is always full of joy and friends (Topic & Arrib, thank you for these days!) And Mala's food, absolutely the best we had in Lombok, fat&happy!

I had an amazing experience with Mala and Nopy's, felt like my indonesia parents. They took us many places in Lombok from north to south. The food it's absolutely amazing, the spicy tempé and the peanut sauce were my favourite. They always make sure nothing is missing. We played cards, sing, shared stories and try to learn indonesian and sasak. The work itself is very very light we just ended up going to the local school, talk more than teach, to the nicest and kindest kids we ever met. Thank you for everything and also to Topik and Arrib (smiley) for making everything easy and funny.

This was such a beautiful experience for me! Mala and Nopy did everything to make us feel welcome and truly part of the family. They organised many activities for us and showed us so many interesting places around the island. We really felt connected to the local culture and had the chance to experience Lombok in a very authentic way. Mala also prepared amazing meals for us every day, the food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were always generous! I enjoyed all this so much that I've decided to extend my stay here. I would highly recommend this volunteering experience! ❤

I had an incredible week! I met some amazing people—big thanks to Nopy, Mala, and the others... 🫶🏻 I got to attend a local festival and experience the locals' real way of life; they took us everywhere on scooters and showed us so many spots, like waterfalls and the "Secret Gili" islands. My best memories are definitely the evenings spent playing guitar and singing together around the campfire. The best week of my entire trip! 🤩

Unser Aufenthalt bei Mala und ihrem Team war einfach nur achön! Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten viel Spaß beim Unterrichten in der Schule oder bei den Waisenkindern. Dazu werden viele tolle Ausflüge angebotenund fas Essen ist auch sehr lecker! Wir haben achon darüber geredet, dass wir gerne wieder zu Jesuch kommen!

Eine ganz große Empfehlung! 🤍 Die Zeit mit Nala, Nopi & dem Team ist immer schön. Wir lieben es mit ihnen Zeit zu verbringen, Englisch zu unterrichten (in Schulen oder bei den Waisen) und gemeinsam Lomboks schöne Ecken zu erkunden. Man fühlt sich als Teil einer großen Familie. Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit und wir sind sehr dankbar für alles! Wir werden alle sehr vermissen und planen schon bald wieder zu kommen! Ganz viel Liebe!!

Ich würde es jedem empfehlen der ein local life erleben möchte. Ich hatte die beste Zeit meiner Backpacker Reise. Die Menschen, vorallem mala und noppy kümmern sich sehr gut um euch, sie versuchen möglichst alle eure Wünsche in Erfüllung zu bringen. Man erlebt Sachen die man als „normaler Touri“ niemals erleben würde.
