Downtown Beds is a hostel inside a 17th-century palace, steps from the Zócalo in Mexico City. We're relaunching it and need you!
You'll run guest activities (ping-pong & foosball tournaments, drinking tours, game nights) and create photos, videos and social media content.
You get a bed, a portfolio and a front-row seat to travelers from everywhere. Social, creative and outgoing? Send us a sample of your work!
15 heures d'aide par semaine
Photographie: Prendre, éditer et fournir des photos incroyables.

Downtown Beds is a hostel inside a 17th-century palace, steps from the Zócalo in Mexico City's Historic Center. We're relaunching it and building a community around it. As part of the crew, you'll help us create the content and the activities that make travelers want to stay, and you'll get a bed, a portfolio and a front-row seat to guests from all over the world. Stay: minimum 1 week, up to [3 or 4] weeks.
Activities (community)
Run ping-pong and foosball tournaments, game nights and drinking tours
Welcome new guests and help them meet each other
Propose your own ideas. We're open to them!
Content
Photos and videos of the hostel, the activities and the guests
Help with social media posts
Shifts
(6-8hrs per day), (2 days off per week)
(Example: mornings for content, evenings for activities)
Hostel rules (apply to everyone, including the crew)
No drugs anywhere in the hostel
No eating, drinking or smoking in the rooms, and no outside food or drinks in the rooms or facilities
Smoking only in designated areas
Keep common areas clean
No pets
Visitors are received at Reception only
Loss or damage to hostel property will be charged to your account
Hang laundry only in the terrace laundry area
Bring your own padlock for the lockers or we can sell you one.
Deposit of $100 MXN - around 5 USD(for towel, sheets and key, returned at the end of your stay)
Volunteer rules
Be on time for your shifts and warn us in advance if you can't make it
No drinking during shifts
Content you create may be used on the hostel's social media
Respect guests, staff and the historic building
