Rachel, the host, is an incredible woman with a good predisposition and energy to talk and explain everything you need to know about land management and sustainability. ALSO you will never even go hungry with the incredible meals she prepares. The farm itself is a beautiful environment, but you have to be really prepared mentally and physically as it says in the description. - The only detail that I would have liked to know before is about the bathroom since it is located outside the house and does not have a door :/ which sometimes becomes uncomfortable and there are no photos to prove it.

I enjoyed my stay at the farm! I was there for a month and it was my first WP experience. The tasks were as expected and very satisfying to complete. I learned a lot about animal welfare and land care. I also enjoyed hanging out with the goats :). The nature on the mountain is absolutely gorgeous as well. Overall a nice experience for my first time.

I enjoyed my stay at the farm for sure. The work was rewarding and new to me but I was very excited to learn. I've never worked with animals or on a farm before and this was my first worldpackers experience. Rachel is a great host, and very appreciative of hard work. Communication was pretty difficult at first but as we got to know each other more it became easier. It's very clear how much she cares for her animals and sustainability. The food was always thoughtfully made as well which was great because we had something to look forward to after work. Feel free to message with more questions!

Incroyable l'expérience que j'ai vécue à la ferme de Rachel. Elle est une femme qui se soucie de ses animaux, de la nature et de ce que nous consommons comme nourriture.
Elle a un grand projet, et il a été très agréable de pouvoir apporter ma pierre à l'édifice.
Les tâches sont simples, sortir les chèvres le matin peut être un défi les premiers jours, mais ensuite cela devient très supportable.
Ce sont de grands animaux, intelligents et très beaux.
Les repas sont copieux et délicieux 😋
Sans aucun doute, je recommande ce bénévolat pour se reconnecter avec la nature, avec soi-même et avec une grande personne comme Rachel.

Le temps dans la maison était très agréable. La région est très belle. Travailler avec les chèvres était amusant et stimulant. Les chiens sont très amicaux et ont besoin d'affection. Nous avons également travaillé à couper des arbustes et des herbes avec la débroussailleuse pour nettoyer certaines terrasses de la ferme. L'hôtesse nous expliquait comment faire le travail, en plus d'enseigner sur l'histoire de la région, les incendies, le drainage, les soins des chèvres et les choses générales de la ferme. La nourriture était excellente, et il est bon d'apporter quelques collations, surtout pour le week-end.
