This was the best experience i had volunteering. The host, other volunteers, the island was just amazing. The work was just enough with enough time to relax and for other activities. 100/10 recommend!

I had such a lovely experience volunteering at this hostel! From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel really welcome and part of the team. The staff were kind, supportive, and easy to communicate with, and the tasks were clear, fair, and well organized. What I enjoyed most was the atmosphere, it was super friendly and social, and I got to meet so many amazing people from all over the world. There was a great balance between helping out and having free time to relax or explore. I'd absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone thinking about volunteering.

Amazing volunteering at the hostel! The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature and with breathtaking views that make it easy to relax and disconnect. The team is incredibly efficient, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. The structure itself is fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and socializing. The common areas are great for meeting other travelers, and everything feels organized yet relaxed. It's the perfect balance between tranquility and community.

It was a fantastic experience, especially for personal and business growth. the hostel isn't really my kind of place, as I prefer smaller, more community-oriented hostels with open-minded people and a family vibe. The area is very touristy and party-focused, which I didn't know beforehand. However, it's a great place for networking, meeting people, finding work and discovering new opportunities. You can build valuable connections, develop new ideas and grow as a person. Overall, it completely changed my perspective and the way I see many things.

My time at the hostel has been and still going great. I've really enjoyed the company of the staff who are very committed to the hostel's schedule and all the tasks around the hostel. The vibe is very healthy as smoking is not allowed inside the hostel and I also appreciate all the extra activities they offer. The location is privileged just a few minutes walk from the beach.

I was 7 weeks in Medan the hostel. I should have stayed there only 4 weeks, but i extended as much as i could. It was an incredible experience, soon i became part of the little warm family of medano, the atmosphere of the hostel is amazing and Alessandro is a great manager. He listens to you, helps you and he is great at managing every situation that may occur. You need to of course adapt to the hostel life, but it's all worth it! I would recommend this experience to anyone, it will enrich you in every possible way, this is at least what happened to me. Forever grateful to have done it!

A hostel that makes you feel like a part of the family with a great location and a pool. It's a good place to practice Spanish, but it can be harder to connect with others if you don't speak Spanish yet. The work is manageable, and the host is very understanding, supportive, and flexible when it comes to changing hours. The overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it well suited for people who enjoy a relaxed, close-knit environment. I would definitely recommend this opportunity to others

It was my first experience and it couldn't have gone better! the hostel where I stayed is a large hostel with lots of people, so you can't get bored and you can learn a lot about different cultures. I was immediately welcomed by the volunteers and managers. If you have any questions or requests they are always ready to help you in a friendly manner. The job also allows you to have a lot of free time, and they are very accommodating to your needs, they give you the opportunity to discover new places or also relax on the nearby beaches. A wonderful experience, muchas gracias! <3

The experience at Medano the hostel was one full of experiences, mostly good ones, but nothing in life is perfect. Alessandro is an amazing manager and an even more amazing human being. The hostel is nice, in a good, chill area, El Médano is an amazing beach town that has everything. I created many friendships here and I would recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you Alessandro 🙏💙

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I had such a fun and amazing time. Everyone was so fun kind and welcoming and it was a great place to meet new people. The hostel was also in a really good location so you can go to the beach or explore whenever you're not working. The work was also very flexible.
