Welcome to Dades Valley Adventures, a local tourism project in the beautiful Dades Valley, Morocco.
We are looking for creative and motivated volunteers who would like to help us promote our destination and share its culture, landscapes, and outdoor experiences with an international audience.
Volunteers will contribute to social media management, photography, video creation, and travel content about hiking, Monkey Fingers Canyon, Amazigh culture, local traditions, and daily life in the valley.
In exchange, you will have the opportunity to experience authentic Moroccan and Amazigh culture, discover the local area, meet local people, and contribute to the growth of a small local tourism business.
We value cultural exchange, teamwork, creativity, respect, and a genuine interest in responsible tourism.
- Create photos and short videos showcasing the Dades Valley and its landscapes.
- Help manage and update our social media channels.
- Create engaging posts, captions, and travel content in English.
- Document local culture, Amazigh traditions, hiking routes, and outdoor experiences.
- Help improve our online visibility and promote our tourism activities.
- Participate in occasional local excursions or cultural activities when available.
**Schedule**
Volunteers will contribute approximately 21 hours per week, spread over 5 days, with 2 days off per week.
The daily schedule will be agreed upon together and may be flexible depending on activities, weather conditions, and content creation opportunities.
We encourage volunteers to plan their tasks independently while communicating regularly with the host.
- Treat the host, local community, and other volunteers with respect.
- Communicate openly and be reliable with agreed tasks and schedules.
- Respect local Amazigh culture, traditions, and community values.
- Ask permission before photographing or filming local people.
- Use social media responsibly and obtain approval before publishing content on behalf of Dades Valley Adventures.
- Take care of shared spaces, equipment, and any resources provided.
- Keep the accommodation clean and respect other people's privacy.
- Follow local safety guidance during hikes and outdoor activities.
- Inform the host in advance about schedule changes or any difficulties.
We expect a positive attitude, respect, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and share experiences. In return, we aim to provide a welcoming environment for cultural exchange and an authentic experience in the Dades Valley.
