My boyfriend and I spent an amazing month at the hostel. We worked at the bar and it was a sensacionall experience. Effie is a lovely person and all the hostel and bar staff are very friendly. We had plenty of time to get to know Bangkok, visit all the sights, and explore the less touristy and most charming parts of the city. We learned a lot about the Thais and their culture there. The work was simple, the hours and days off were followed very well, and the atmosphere really is wonderful. I not only recommend it, but would go again if I return to Bangkok. Coral e Vitor erano una coppia molto dolce e romantica. Si sono comportati molto bene al bar e si sono accompagnati per la maggior parte del tempo. Hanno creato un'atmosfera molto bella al bar. Era tranquillo al bar mentre erano qui, ma hanno reso il posto così vivace. Sono stati capaci di ballare e cantare molto bene. Siamo stati molto felici di incontrarli e di imparare dalla loro cultura. Altamente consigliato!

IT was the greatest first experience for a Worldpacking adverture. Effie is great, so is Elle and Soda, whi help you knowing the daily tasks. The working hours are respected and you get the day off to explore Bangkok. The hostel is located in a estrategic place downtown. 20 minutos walking from Chinatown, Khao San Road, The Great Palace and othe places you'll want to visit. I highly recomend it.

È stata una grande esperienza ospitare Danie. Era una signora incantevole e tutti la amano. Mi ha aiutato al bar e ha saputo svolgere tutte le attività molto bene. Era desiderosa di imparare e si è impegnata molto per aiutarci. Riceviamo sempre complimenti dai clienti. Altamente consigliata!

Houssem era un ragazzo dolce e gentile. Era molto laborioso e dedicato alla nostra posizione di volontariato, onesto. Ha anche contribuito a realizzare ottimi video di contenuto e fotografie per il marketing. Lo raccomando vivamente.

The experience I have had at the hostel has been absolutely amazing. The atmosphere of the place is so friendly, relaxed and admirable. The people that run the hostel are so warm and kind. The hours are perfect for anyone wishing to still have time to travel and the location is great as there are so many temples and things to see and do around. If you are looking for a quiet, fun and chill place to volunteer. 110% recommend this wonderful place.

Bri è arrivata al nostro ostello come volontaria e se ne è andata come mia sorella. È stata molto utile e entusiasta di imparare. Era una persona dolce e premurosa. Tutti la adorano, soprattutto mio figlio di quattro anni. Era molto brava con i bambini. Ha aiutato a sviluppare un sito web per un nuovo bar, nonché i social media. È sempre la benvenuta qui! Altamente consigliata!

I did not feel like being a volunteer at the hostel but an employee. Effie is always busy running from one side to the other and can hardly ever give us attention to exchange experiences. The hostel has some management issues that bothered a bit, for example; control of money is inefficient. Overall the expence was good. The hostel is very tidy and clean, well located. The work described on the site was followed. The work itself was quite simple, but the accuracy of several procedures that were not taught. It was not a previous training, just started work.

So lucky to have chosen the hostel as my first hostel. I had so much fun learning new things. Staff was indeed like family and my stay couldn't have been made better by the warmth and the cleanliness of the place. A lot of changes were made to the schedule but they were still able to accommodate me and my travel plans. Effie, the owner, was very considerate and kind. :)

Mela era una persona molto dolce e premurosa. Era professionale e si presentava molto bene. Vorrei poterla avere come receptionist a tempo pieno. Ha completato tutti i compiti assegnati e ha gestito i clienti molto bene. Sarebbe riuscita a andare d'accordo con tutti qui e ci piacerebbe riaverla con noi di nuovo. Altamente raccomandata!

Me quedé ahí 10 semanas. Effie es una excelente persona, muy atenta, trabajadora y amigable. Le agradezco mucho haberme hospedado y todas las atenciones que me dió 💖 Conocí a voluntarios de muchos países diferentes y nos hicimos muy buenos amigos. La ubicación está genial para visitar muchos lugares turísticos pero sin un costo de vida elevado. Muchas gracias por todo Effie, muchos éxitos 😘

Motu Bangkok fue como mi segunda casa! El trabajo es tal cual se describe. Yo hice parte del bar en Motu, donde la mayoría de los clientes son los mismos amigos de Effie; lo cual da una vibra familiar y local. Effie me compartía snacks de vez en cuando para ir probando los distintos platos de la cultura Tai. Esta fue mi primera experiencia con WorldPackers y la recomiendo 100%. Muchas gracias por todo Effie! Me encantó conocerte a ti y a tu familia. Espero volver el próximo año.

Recomiendo totalmente realizar el voluntariado de recepcionista en el hostel. El lugar es super tranquilo, las tareas son fáciles, mi turno fue de 7 am a 11 am por lo que abría la recepción y realizaba los check out del día. En mi caso tenía todo el día libre para recorrer la ciudad, conocer los lugares que tenía pre vistos, está ubicado en un excelente lugar, tiene bicicletas disponibles para que puedas usar, paradas de buses y el metro cercano. El staff y voluntarios de mi estadía fue siempre muy amigable y agradable.

Molti worldpackers si sono candidati a questa posizione recentemente. L'host probabilmente non sarà in grado di rispondere a tutte le candidature, quindi ti consigliamo di candidarti anche ad altri host nella nostra comunità e non solo a questo :)
