My experience with the hostel was more than I could have ever asked for. It was fun, loving and inspiring. It's impossible to feel like a stranger there, the people are so welcoming. Truly a family. The work was mainly conducting events, helping out with tasks and engaging with the guests. Grazie di cuore di tutto. Would recommend a million times 🩵

My Italian family! I've never felt so welcome and part of a team so quickly. The staff are wonderful and the hostel is great! It's close to the city centre and the beach too, which makes getting around so much easier (not to mention the metro just up the road). The food is good and all the arrangements and working hours are flexible and open to discussion. the hostel chain is brilliant, and they're really open to letting you experience their other branches. I'll never forget how happy I was during this experience and the wonderful people I met. I can't wait to go back! Obrigada! ❤️

I had a great time at the hostel!! Since the moment I entered the hostel I felt like being part of a big family!! Everyone was very welcoming and kind and easy going. The shifts were easy and the weekly hours just as communicated, sometimes even less. There was always someone to hang out with the guests or the staff so I always felt part of something!! Already missing the vibe and the people and the jokes w everyone!! Can definetly recommend!

The hostel is an amazing hostel to stay even if you are not a volunteer. Our tasks would vary a lot, sometimes being super chill and other days not that much. Besides the breakfast we could also use the free ingredients that they leave available for the guests and that was super nice. About the city, I can't say that I loved it, is busy, not so pretty and kind of crazy, but you can enjoy a lot of amazing places nearby, so I still think is a good idea to volunteer and have this extra time around here. The manager was always helpful if we had requests about the schedule, that was very nice!

My experience volunteering at the hostel was overall very positive. My main role was hosting nightly social activities, along with tasks like preparing pasta for guests, cleaning the bar area, and taking out the trash. A morning shift was later introduced, involving duties such as sorting linens and general upkeep. Volunteers received free breakfast daily, and pasta and vegetables were always available in the kitchen. There was a €63 city tax, but drinks were offered in return. I had some communication issues with staff, but my feedback was taken seriously and quickly addressed.

The time I spent at the hostel was amazing! The atmosphere felt like a big family/ friend group, and they really made me feel like being part of it. I loved the group of volunteers. The tasks at work were easy, and the shifts were as agreed on or even less. It was one of the most fun work environments I have ever experienced. On crowded nights, it was fun to meet guests from all over the world, and on calm nights we hung out with the staff together, so it never got boring. A lot of love for the place and the people🫶🏻 I can only recommend it! It truly feels like a second home.

I could not recommend the hostel more for anyone seeking a vibrate and interesting volunteer experience. The hours were exactly as agreed upon or less, the tasks were easy and manageable and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Not only have I made lifelong memories, I have also made lifelong friends. I have learned more about myself and others than I ever could have imagined and it is an experience I will hold dear for years to come. It should also be noted, my volunteer experience took place outside of peak season. Despite this I met people from all over the world.

I don't have enough words to describe the amazing experience I had at the hostel! The hostel is beautiful, cozy, and lively, all at the same time. The work is exactly as described (and if you enjoy group activities and meeting new people, you'll love it!) and the shifts are flexible among the volunteers. The staff is definitely one of the best parts of the experience, everyone is absolutely amazing! I truly felt at home and I'll be back soon! Já sinto saudades!

I had a lovely time in the hostel! Everyone made me feel welcome and we had a comfortable room with the other volunteer girls at the time. They respect your wishes for the schedule and help you reach your learning goals whenever there's time to practice language, work, or getting to know around.
