I had such a lovely experience at the hostel. Refat and Resi are so caring, they made the experience so enjoyable. They really get to know their volunteers and see what position/hours they are best suited for. I only spent a month there but I would've stayed much longer, the hostel is such a welcoming and fun place to be.

As a first time volunteer, I thought the hostel was a good experience. The accommodations were clean, the hours were respected, and the tasks were manageable. The hosts were considerate of our time which I really appreciated. Berat is an extremely beautiful town, and working at the hostel allowed me to learn from so many guests about life abroad, as well as local living in Albania.

I volunteered at the hostel for 6 weeks and would recommend it to other travelers. I think this is a great experience for anyone looking to slow down their lifestyle and focus on the present. Berat is a beautifully small city, and the hosts are kind and knowledgeable. The hours and shifts are respected and the hostel itself is clean and lively.

From the moment I arrived at the hostel I could tell this was a very special place. Refat and Resi are some of the kindest, socially aware, and hardworking people I've encountered in my travels and volunteering. You really are made to feel like family in such a short time. The hours are fair and the work considerate, and communication was never an issue. I feel I've made lasting friends here, both with the hosts, volunteers, and some guests as well. Thank you for everything, I hope to return!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience. I came here with a 3 month commitment, and no expectations. I immediately felt welcomed by the hosts, and the community of Berat. Refat and Resi are some of the most hospitable and enjoyable people I have ever crossed paths with. I would return as a volunteer at a moments notice if the opportunity presented itself. I cannot recommend this place enough for people looking for a welcoming, enjoyable, and life changing experience. You will not regret it. My time at the hostel will be a fond memory of mine for years to come. Thanks for everything, Pablo.
