Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Zair, the volunteer manager always listened to everyone's requests and the other volunteers I now consider family :) This is the place to volunteer at!

Volunteering at the hostel was one of the best experiences i've had whilst traveling! there's loads of volunteers and we all felt like a big family. i truly met friends for life and it was a big struggle to leave :( regarding hours worked, it was perfect! I worked only 3 days a week which allowed me to explore the island as much as possible. Zair, the volunteer coordinator, always tried to be flexible and listen to volunteers requests!

I had a horrible experience. I got there and was asked to wait for the supervisor that did not respond to texts and did not respond till next day. They showed me the volunteer staff dorm which had more than 20 beds. I was on the top bunk of a triple bunk with a broken ladder. The room was dirty with stuff everywhere and roaches. People were in and out of the room all hours of the night. To top it off a picture of my passport was sent to all the volunteers without removing any of my private information. The yoga equipment was old and dirty. Left within 24 hrs. Do not recommend

My stay at the hostel was MARAVILHOSO!! The people are lovely, the hostel is nice and spacious, and situated close to lots of pubs, clubs, restaurants and beaches! The work is chill and fair, giving you a lot of spare time to go to the beach, go out at night or just hang out with the other volunteers and guests at the hostel! I'd recommend everyone to go!! Also, the owners are super nice and always trying to make you fell at home!! Adorei meu tempo com vocês no the hostel e vou com certeza voltar para visitar vocês um dia. Talvez para tomar algumas caipiras e ir no um pagode!! Beijooos!

Volunteering at SeaWolf was an absolute joy! Louisa (host) was very understanding and accommodating. The work is light and the rest of the staff is helpful, and willing to pitch in whenever needed. The accommodation was very clean and organized, SeaWolf is probably the cleanest hostel I've ever seen! The nearby town of Lagoa has plenty to do, with incredible hikes and overall solid public transportation. Make sure to cash in on those free surf lessons SeaWolf offers while you're there!

O the hostel é em si uma rede sensacional de hostels! Só tenho a agradecer por tudo e todos… Fui voluntária na unidade the hostel, fui muito acolhida pelos voluntários e pela Zair (anfitriã). Fiquei nas funções de limpeza e recepção, com liberdade para tirar todas as dúvidas a hora que precisasse. Comunicação de todos excelente! Todos sempre tentando se ajudar. Cheguei na baixa temporada, então o movimento estava bem tranquilo. Mas em alguns momentos de alta foram incríveis, dias cheios de aventuras e diversão! Obrigada Lobitos!!!

O hostel me abriu um mundo de novas oportunidades, principalmente em relação aos idiomas e à troca cultural. Durante minha experiência, tive a chance de me conectar com pessoas de diferentes lugares, fazer trilhas, aproveitar a natureza e conhecer um pouco mais de tudo o que a Ilha da Magia tem a oferecer. Foi uma experiência de muito aprendizado, boas conexões e momentos especiais. Sou muito grato a todos que me receberam de braços e coração abertos. Com certeza, uma experiência que vou levar comigo para sempre.

A experiência no the hostel foi otima!! ❤️ O trabalho do voluntario é completamente organizado, o hostel e o quarto dos voluntários é impecável na limpeza, o hostel é muito bem localizado ( mercados, farmácia, loja de bugigangas, etc)a anfitriã Zair esteve sempre preocupada comigo desde minha chegada até o final do meu voluntariado, o que me permitiu ter uma experiência muito positiva. La me conectei com pessoas do mundo todo e pude praticar meus idiomas. Os funcionários fixos, Marcela e Patrick, são pessoas incríveis que pude ter a honra de trabalhar com eles! Indico muito e espero voltar !
