My stay at the reserve was amazing! Even though I stayed only one week, since the beginning I felt part of the reserve, thanks to the great team of volunteers and the host Vale. Despite my Spanish being very poor, we managed to communicate and share experiences, thanks to which I also improved a lot! I recommend the reserve to everyone who's looking for a deep experience, for a place of sharing, and a taste of local culture. Muy buena onda :) <3

I came away from the reserve feeling super inspired by Vale and the community feeling she has created. She has a benevolent awareness of the area and the indigenous land she resides on, and tries to contribute as much as she can to the community in Huasco. Also I landed on an amazing group of fellow volunteers & made great friendships. It must be said, we ate incredibly well

The reserve has the motive to unite people from every corner of the world, no matter social economic status, and the first step to do so is breakfast. These breakfasts gave me so much. You have political discussions, get to know everything about flor and Fauna and get new interesting contacts. Vale always make sure you are well taken care of and gives you opportunities to attend on different tours and experiences. I was supposed to stay maximum 2 weeks, but ended up staying a month. Thanks to the reserve I now have yet another place to call home. 🥰

I had a great time at the reserve Glamping! The site and surrounding area is beautiful, and I loved being close to the beach! The surrounding town was cute and fun to explore, and we got to do lots of fun activities in the beautiful region. Vale was great, and we always felt like family. I didn't speak much Spanish so it was a bit difficult to connect with people right away and understand instructions, but we made it work. I hope to return!

I loved my time at the reserve! The facilites were cozy and welcoming. There were many fun things to see and do in the area, and it was easy to get there! Vale is awesome and treats everyone like family. I miss it already!

Truly a wonderful experience. Vale and Juli make you feel at home, in such a beautiful landscape. Wish I could have stayed more to enjoy the conversation, AMAZING food, dogs and landscapes. Very chill overall! You come as a traveler and leave as a friend.

I really enjoyed my stay in the reserve. Valentina and Julio are very kind and you get to know their friends. Food is amazing and it's a pleasure to help cooking and cleaning the place. the reserve is located in a beautiful spot right on the beach and is quiet. It's possible to go on hikes, surf, kayak, paddle... You can really connect with the nature here. Would recommend 👌

My experience in the reserve was unexpected, i discover a wonderful place, project and lovely people.. time goes so fast and i would do more on this project.. i really would like to come back one day and share more time and more experiences with them.. we had a great time and the food was amazing !!! Thank you

I had the best time in my 2 weeks at the reserve. Vali was so helpful before giving advice on the bus to get from Santiago and where to get off. The schedule was very chilled with full control of which days I worked and which I had as days off. Although my Spanish is bad I was able to learn some more whilst I was there and next time I visit I hope to be much better! Juli is an amazing cook and all the meals were 10/10. Massive thank you to everyone at the reserve and I look forward to visiting again in the future!

I have very mixed feelings about my stay at the glamping. On the one hand the location is amazing, the beach only a 5 minute walk away, the food is amazing and it isn't hard work. On the other hand when asked what I was supposed to do I got no answer, when asking what my working hours are, I got no answer. I just started doing things around the glamping and that seemed good enough. Absolutely nothing is happening concerning sustainability. If you don't like drink and drugs, this place is not for you, the first joint is passed around at 10AM. During my stay 3 people left early, myself included.
