I had a wonderful time at Mark's place. He and his daughter are warm, welcoming, and incredibly generous. The cabin I stayed in was clean and private, and the property is beautiful. Mark taught me a lot about permaculture and let me choose the tasks I wanted to do. Besides the interesting work, he made me feel very welcome, introduced me to his friends, and I joined him for yoga classes. He also organized a beautiful waterfall day trip. I truly enjoyed all the great conversations we shared over meals and cups of tea. It's a special and peaceful place if you love gardening and tranquility.

I stayed for 10 days and had a really positive experience. Tasks are completely fair, I did mainly pruning and weeding but also some other gardening bits and painting. Accomodation is comfortable and private, you help yourself to breakfast and lunch, and dinner is shared in the main house. On time off, Mark is super generous with rides into town and suggestions for what to do in the area, and in general I felt really welcomed and taken care of. Would definitely recommend!

It was a very nice stay at our kind hosts place. Mark is a great individual, who is very polite and introduces you into the local community. The work is very fair and Mark explains everything you need to know for work and shares his knowledge about permaculture with you. The trips with him were very nice and interesting. Thank you, Mark! P.S.: I would agree to everything Alexa wrote in her review.

We had an amazing time at Mark's place and he is a fantastic host! From the beginning, he was very welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable. The work is fair and flexible, and we learned a lot about permaculture, plants, and animals. On our days off, Mark took us on great trips or dropped us off in town. He also cooked delicious vegetarian meals, and we enjoyed spending evenings together. Mark introduced us to local life, gave helpful travel tips, and made our stay truly special. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys a rural livestyle, gardening, and outdoor activities.
