The experience was very positive despite the demanding workload. The food is exceptional, and every day I had the opportunity to try a new dish. The accommodation is very comfortable. For those working remotely, I recommend clearly communicating your availability so that volunteer hours can be scheduled in the best possible way.

In a charming house on the river, in a lovely town, I met a strong woman, determined, and able to always find new solutions for her life. Renovating Sasha's home was challenging, but very interesting: I learned new skills, discovered how much I love manual work and shared my stay with other wonderful volunteers. Sasha and Marc have always been concerned that each of us is well and comfortable. They spoiled us with their cuisine and wonderful morning croissants! Marc thank you for being such a charming and kind speaker and Sasha thanks for sharing such profound stories about your life!THANK YOU

This was my first experience with Worldpackers, and it was much better than I ever imagined. Alexandra and Mark are wonderful hosts—I felt welcomed, safe, and very well-fed. Mark is an amazing cook! Alexandra works alongside us, willing to help, explaining the tasks carefully, being patient, and always open to suggestions. Besides the house being beautiful, the hosts genuinely care about your well-being, providing helpful tourism information, recommending the best options and places to visit, and answering any questions you may have. My experience with Alexandra was wonderful. The place was absolutely stunning, and both she and Marc made me feel at home from day one. On our days off, they took us on small trips and shared insights about the local culture, which was truly enriching. They were always attentive, even offering to pick me up from the train station if I ever returned late at night. The work was demanding but incredibly rewarding, and the schedule was completely flexible. Overall, I highly recommend this experience!

I want to thank Sasha and Marc for receiving me in their home with such cordiality and kindness. I've done many different stuff during my stay, some things more demanding physically but it was a new experience and I've got to learn a lot of new stuff and learn lot of things about what I am capable of doing, and also some french!!!!

Super première expérience sur Worldpackers. Merci à Alexandra et Marc pour leur accueil chaleureux. Niveau accommodation: la maison rénovée est très grande et absolument magnifique j'ai dormi dans une chambre privé super confortable.il y a aussi une terrasse et un un coin a coté d'une petite rivière pour se pose tranquillement le soir. Niveau travail, Alexandra est clair sur les taches et elle s'est impliqué de nous donner des pauses et moments de repos dans les journées. Je recommande vivement cet endroit. Au plaisir de vous revoir bientôt.

Foi a minha experiência como voluntário e eu pude aprender muito enquanto estive lá. A acomodação era muito confortável e ficava há 5 minutos da galeria de arte. O meu trabalho era de 6h diárias durante 6 dias na semana. Foi uma experiência incrível poder trabalhar com arte e estar rodeado delas todos os dias. A cidade é pequena e tem tudo o que você precisa muito perto. Alex e o Mark foram uns queridos, muito solícitos e disponiveis.

Estoy muy agradecido y contento de esta experiencia, la repetiría muchas veces mas. El trato de Sasha y Marc es increíble, son personas super amables, respetuosas y cariñosas, lo que hizo que esta experiencia fuese como estar en casa. Las tareas son sencillas, y por las tardes se puede disfrutar del maravilloso pueblo de Dreux, a demás de tener el metro a una hora de París. La casa esta rodeada de arboles y tiene un rio precioso con patos, con lo que es un lugar que relaja he invita a quedarse admirando ese paisaje tan bonito. Muchas gracias por esta experiencia, volveré 😁.

Mi experiencia de voluntariado en Dreux fue maravillosa. Sasha y Marc te reciben con calidez en su hermoso hogar, rodeado de naturaleza y junto al río, lo que lo convierte en un lugar muy especial. Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias, y los espacios comunes invitan al descanso. Las tareas son variadas: lijar, pintar, ordenar, mover objetos… perfectas para quien desea aprender sobre remodelación. El ambiente es tranquilo, ideal para conectar con otros viajeros. ¡Incluso puedes visitar París en tu día libre!

De nombreux worldpackers ont postulé à ce poste récemment. L'hôte ne pourra probablement pas répondre à toutes les candidatures, nous vous recommandons donc de postuler également auprès d'autres hôtes de notre communauté et pas seulement celui-ci :)
