I definitely would recommend volunteering here for those who are looking for a peaceful and restorative position and who are also curious about Buddhism. Work is either grounds, café, kitchen, or housekeeping and all of the work is pretty laid back although cafe can get busy at times! You are allowed to join any class/meditation that you aren't working during. My fellow volunteers became very close and ill miss them and the residents/staff very very much 🫶🏼🫶🏼 xx

One of the most beautiful experiences I've had in my life. I carry with me the best memories of the Center, not only because it is a beautiful place but also because there I met those who are now my best friends. It is a special place, surrounded by nature and good people. I believe that is the essence: a place is special thanks to the people who inhabit it. My experience at Tara the Center was absolutely wholesome! I was able to connect with people from different parts of the world, share some responsibilities and gain some great insights on meditation and budism. The center is very well rounded and i was able to learn some new skills. I'm glad i was able to give my time in exchange.

Great experience with Tara the Center and people here! It's a place full of kind people and place to meet other travelers. I was very kindly welcomed, and I enjoyed every day of the stay. I've worked mostly in café, which i preferred. It helped me improve my skills and find out how café works. Working on grounds was also great, there are a lot of beautifull old trees. I have to give a big compliment to chefs. I'm not vegetarian, but I really enjoyed meals there and found tastes which are new to me. I didn't miss the meat. It was my first experience with volunteering and I think it was worth it.

My experience in Tara the Center has been lovely and as my first Worldpackers volunteering it motivates me to keep travelling and applying to other opportunities in the future. To volunteer in Tara the Center it's been an amazing experience. I learned about Buddhism, I get to practice my English with the residents and other volunteers. Everyone is so kind, loving and caring. The working hours are fair, comfy bed on a big bedroom, delicious food everyday, you can attend meditation sessions. Overall I would totally recommend to others to come.

I must start by saying thank you. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Everyone was so wonderful and warm. It was safe and felt like a home away from home! It was also fun work! This was my first ever Worldpackers trip and it has opened the doors to a new world of travel and adventure. Feeling grateful and so so inspired! I will be back.
