Adveniat Hostel
Our hostel is in the center of Paris, very closed to Champs-Elysées, to the Seine river and to the Eiffel tower.
You will have an occasion to live in and to discovery this city in a different way. Sharing the common life with a christian community, this may be also an opportunity to experience a new lifestyle.
We may have different function (brothers, employees, volunteers...) but we try to create together a family's atmosphere. Our principle is very simple : kindness and professionalism.

Adveniat is supported by a religious community and they welcome you inside their christian lifestyle. They were always very attentive and make me feel at home as long as I respect their rules and privacy. The location is superbe, right in the heart of Paris. Facilities are clean and modern. Daily tasks included assisting community members with the hostel breakfast and cleaning. We usually were done by noon and then the afternoon free. It's up to you if you want to have lunch and dinner with them. I'd definitely recommend the Assomptionists if you are on a budget and want to discover Paris

If you want to experience French culture and explore Paris, this is for you. The location is crazy, everything is close, the schedules are what they tell you and the room is perfect.
This was my first volunteer experience and I just have to say thank you Adveniat, what a beautiful experience, everything here is a great way to grow as a human being, I met many wonderful people, the staff, the community, the students, the guests and my fellow volunteers Julio and Andres, thank you for giving me this opportunity and I hope to be back soon.

Esta experiencia tocó mi corazón y la recomiendo al 100%. Desde Romel, Ethiel, Philippe, Jean-Valere, Louis, Truc, Maud, Dennys, mi compañera Belén y los demás integrantes del equipo, me hicieron sentir incluida y bienvenida desde el primer al último día. Me encontré con un ambiente de compañerismo super lindo. Nunca estás sola para hacer ninguna tarea y eso hace que todo sea más ameno y sencillo. Ojalá pueda verlos pronto nuevamente, estoy muy agradecida de haber pasado un mes hermoso con ustedes y graciasss por la paciencia con mi nivel de francés 😅 a bientôt !!

My experience at this hostel was excellent. The friendly and family-like atmosphere created by the community of brothers made me feel at home. The tasks were well-organized, with clear schedules that allowed a good balance with free time. The facilities are comfortable and clean, and the food is simply delicious.
Additionally, the cultural exchange with both the staff and guests made this experience enriching and special. I would definitely recommend it and hope to return someday.

My experience in Adveniat was amazing, I felt very welcome by the priest community and was able to become friends with the other volunteer, some of the students that live there and with a member of the staff as well. The work/hours are as described in advance and you are invited to eat lunch and dinner with the priests every day. It was a great opportunity to meet new people, learn more about the adventist community and enjoy Paris. The hostel's structure and location are also fantastic. I highly recommend this experience :)
