We want to be travelers' home away from home. We are in a quiet street in the middle of a typical portuguese fishing village. Walking distance to the beach-2 min,same to bus stop, and to the restaurants and bars streets.
We are friendly people, and concerned about the welfare of our guests, and volunteers. Everything must be in orther. We work all , to please our guests and make them feel home. And the purpose is create a friendly atmosphere among staff and guests, as if we were all part of a group of friends

This was our first experience at Worldpackers and it was good. Alvor is a beautiful town and the beaches are incredible. Neither one of us could speak Portuguese which made communication w Christina (the owner) a little limited. She is a strong willed women but also a lovely and kind person. When it comes to accommodation we stayed in a room with seven beds and did not have access to a washing machine or a proper kitchen. The other volunteers were all kind especially a women named Anna, who will be there until October. So if you go before then you’ll have the privilege of working with her.

It was a really fun experience. Alvor is really beautiful and worth visiting . Cristina created a positive atmosphere which made volunteering there easy and pleasant.

Foi a minha primeira experiência de voluntariado com a Worldpackers e foi simplesmente incrível. A zona de Alvor tem praias lindas. As tarefas que fiz foram sobretudo limpeza de quartos e áreas comuns e ajuda na preparação do pequeno-almoço. Tive a oportunidade de conhecer pessoas magníficas com as quais partilhei conversas profundas que jamais esquecerei. Foram bastante acolhedores comigo e, de facto, só tenho pena de ter ficado apenas uma semana porque acaba por se construir uma pequena família.

Great place, great experience, great people. I’m glad my trip to Portugal ended with this experience. I got to know people from around the world and the beautiful Alvor.
