Artis Tirma

It is a quiet place, where you can relax and connect with yourself. We speak several languages (spanish, german, english) so you can practice those also. We are spiritual and artistic people, who like to have a good conversation sometimes and a good meal together, but respect your space also.You accomodation is in a specific place next to Artis Tirma, also beside the mountain very beautiful with outdoor kitchen, bathroom, and four caravans around with green space. Each caravan are individual for each person .

We are a retired couple running the finca ourselves with the help of volunteers. A good environment where you can meet people who are also doing a work exchange. We are working as a team and everyone has their own responsibility. We prefer non smokers.

It was an amazing stay at Artis Tirma. The accommodation I would describe as a luxurious camping situation. Our main task is the housekeeping of the guest houses and keeping the beautiful finca running. I would totally recommend this experience. Thank you Heinz and Elvira for this great time and your welcoming hearts.

I stayed with my boyfriend for almost 5 weeks. I think that’s enough time to see the whole island on the days off (there is a bus station in front of the finca). The accommodation in the caravan was good and we met great new volunteers. The main tasks of the volunteers is to take care of the guest houses. In the remaining time (shift is from 9-2) volunteers help with gardening, painting and repairing.
The hosts (Elvira and Heinz) are lovely people and have a great energy. We felt very welcome and they also invited us to some meals and activities- this was great. Looking forward to come back.

I was there for six weeks and I didn’t regret it. The place and the hosts were just great. The finca is very quiet and beautifully decorated & Elvira and Heinz are wonderful people from whom you can learn a lot. Through my work I learned to pay attention to the smallest details and how much they make a difference. But I also learned to do things with love and to be patient.
In six weeks you can explore the island very well with the two free days in a week.
All in all, I’m very grateful for the time in Artis Tirma. Thank you Elvira & Heinz🫶🏼✨

What can I say about this place and this couple… I’ve finished some days ago and I think I couldn’t be more happy! Elvira and Heinz are two amazing humans, that took care of me since my first days there. I fell in love with the island, wich with two days off is very easy to explore completely, I recomment at least one month!The tasks were very useful, i’ve never worked in a Guest House and I’m so happy I’ve done it there, the place is beautiful, calm and silent. This experience also taught me how to be more patient, with myself, with other people, and everything else. Grateful💌

it was a wonderful experience, it was a perfect place to reconnect with myself and with nature. It's a positive place both in the work and social spheres, everyone is very relaxed, kind and helpful, which is why we work very well. The best thing was the people I met, beautiful souls with so many things to share, with whom I could laugh and cry, I felt at home.
