I had such an amazing time at LDH! You get to meet so many cool awesome people, whether it’s the staff, guest or the other volunteers which really become your family. The tasks are as described, beds can be a little bit difficult and physically exerting, max number of beds is 20 so you just have to get through them. The reception shifts are light and very fun to do, you get to talk to guests as you are checking them in and meet tons of people! Lisbon Destination Hostel became like a second home for me, I will definitely be back!

El voluntariado fue increíble, el staff es siempre amable y dispuesto a enseñar, conocí personas increíbles, el lugar es muy céntrico puedes llegar a todos los sitios más concurridos caminando, se respetaron mis horas de trabajo, se formó un ambiente familiar con todos los voluntarios y las actividades en las que podemos participar son buenas, lo recomiendo 100%.

I experienced a good month in SDH considering it was my first time volunteering. Altough i faced a tough time during my first week cause of loneliness, once i built relationship with the other female volunteers the things got better and better . Also the stuff , particularly Albano, Tee, Diana and Sonny, were incredible since they were very friendly and welcoming people. The shifts were meneageable, also some week you don’t have even to do all the 20h, which you are supposed to do. I would recommend this hostel not only as a place for volunteer , but also for staying as a guest.

I was a volunteer at the Lisbon Destination location. It was my first volunteering experience and I really enjoyed it. The work shifts are fine and there is a clear schedule. Only the bed shifts are quite hard. You do have a lot of free time to explore Lisbon and other places. The location of the hostel is perfect and the staff is really nice. The volunteer room was fine, but I missed some fresh air in the room. I became very close with the other volunteers and I had a great experience! I would definitely recommend it! :)

Lisbon destination has been my first worldpackers experience and I’ve loved it. The shifts were well organized and the work load it’s quite balanced. The vibes are immaculate and the whole team is super welcoming and fun to hang with. The rest of the volunteers have become like family and I’m so grateful we’ve had the right space and atmosphere to create that special bond!
I would totally suggest it for someone looking for a super social hostel positioned in the center of the city, with great people and a lot of activities!!
Had the greatest month there! <3
