We are in the heart of Edinburgh and staying with us is not only an opportunity to experience the city but it is also an experience to be a part of our hostel family.
We are a fresh, new , young team that are very eager to bring a whole new energy to an old and beautiful building.
I am looking for staff that are respectful, easy-going and hard working. We need people who will not only bring a positive vibe to the hostel but also, are able to share their ideas so that we can continue to make this hostel feel even more like a home. See you soon! Selina.

For my first experience as a voulonteer I'm lucky to found this beautiful hostel.
High Street Hostel is well located in the heart of the city of Edimburgh.
Evryone in the team is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Work is easy with clear instruction and the possibility to choose hours is very good to program your time.
People are beautiful and the atmosphere is familiar, thanks also to the many activities for voulonteers and guest.
Chose this hostel will be for sure a great decision.
I hope to come back again.

I worked together with around 30 volunteers at this hostel. I made a lot of friends here. Basically, I worked two hours every day . I was in charge of bed making, toilet cleaning, and shower room cleaning. The work is pretty easy, and the management is perfect!! We enjoyed event together, and I really enjoyed talking and spending time with other volunteers in free time.

This was my first time working as a volunteer and it was the best experience in my whole life. I've met the most awesome people and already felt at home on the first day. Everyone is suuuper welcoming and friendly and wholesome. The work was very easy and the chosing hours system is great. Working hours were better then I expected and everyone was very helpful and kind. The Management Team is also absolutely amazing and it felt like living in a big great family. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful hostel in the middle of Edinburgh's old town and I hope I can come back soon :)

This hostel has become like home away from home very quickly for me. I couldn't have wished for a better team and better managers. It feels like a very safe space full of welcoming, lovely people. I'm so grateful for all the connections I made here! Thank you for everything HSH, see you soon ❤️

A pesar del tiempo que estuve la verdad la experiencia de este hostal es lo mejor🤩. Las tareas son muy fácil y tienes tiempo libre de sobra para conocer Edimburgo y sus alrededores, desde el día uno me sentí bienvenida por el staff, todos siempre están con la mejor disposición de ayudarte🙌🏼 y me gusta que todos los días hay juegos o actividades y así conoces más personas, súper recomendado!
