I had a great time in Matala. The host was very flexible during my arrival and departure. I was here during the beginning of the season, so everything was just starting to open. There wasn’t a whole lot to do in town, but there are a couple hikes that are really beautiful. If you don’t like nature and remote places, this is not the place for you.

My experience as a volunteer in Intra Muros was amazing! I met incredible people during my time there and discovered Greece and it’s culture. :) I couldn’t have wished for a better host, thank you again so much for the experience! :)

I had an amazing time at Intra Muros in Heraklion for one month! I made great friends with the other volunteers & guests of the hostel, & the work was straightforward for the month. It was a rotation between cleaning shift or reception, & the monthly schedule was made quickly after I arrived so I was able to plan ahead & travel around Crete on my days off. Hector was really kind & friendly, & communicated well. Overall I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to get to know Crete!

Had a really good time here. It was my first time volunteering and the hostel was perfect for that because the work is really easy, the staff is lovely and the guests were nice. You also have enough time to explore more of the island and to just chill out at the roof. Really felt like a home and i miss it so much <3

Best volunteering place for me so far. Amazing place, fun work which is not too much. Super bonding volunteer community and a lot of nice things to do in a group:)) Not the biggest city but I was never bored & more relaxed than ever.
